Id love to, and was actually planning to come tomorrow being I was off work but when they moved it to tonight, that ruined that.
Appreciate the info, I'll definitely be watching.
It's a live broadcast. I haven't heard whether FYN are planning on streaming this game or not, they have broadcast some of Murphy's games this season but not all of them. I'll see if I can find out for you if they are streaming this one.

FYN will be broadcasting the Murphy - East Wilkes and Andrews - Mountain Island Charter games.
Long ride for the Cards, especially on activity buses. I heard they called like 20 different charter bus companies and no one had availability due to the Veterans day weekend. Fortunately they are taking the brand new buses, if thats even a good thing lol.
That is a LONG and I mean LONG ride even on new county busses compared to a charter!

Safe travels Cards...uphill battle indeed. Murphy is so tested and perenially strong this time of year for sure. Not sure EW players or fans knows what they're up against.

Oh Im sure the fans know Murphy's reputation. Im sure Wilmoth has the players understanding of what their fixing to endure. Just hope their ready. It'll be won at the line of scrimmage and unfortunately EWs losses came to teams who were strong and physical up front. If that tells you anything.

The older EW fans know about Murphy..Not sure the younger ones know about how hard nosed and physical most of the SMC teams are.
I can tell one and all that EW has left and are on the way to Murphy. I delivered some trophies to EW about an 1 1/2 hr ago and the team had left!

Great job Cards...Great game Murphy...EW coaches had the Cards more than prepared for the uphill battle..came down to playcalling at the end for a close Murphy 4pt win. Good luck going forward Murphy. Again congrats EW you repped the NWC well all year.
So we get the rematch. Andrews vs Murphy @ Andrews. I look for Murphy to keep it closer this go round.
If the Murphy defense doesn't step up it won't be, two different styles of football between East Wilkes and Andrews but that was a very poor showing defensively tonight for Murphy. The 3 man front just wasn't working for 'Dogs.

I thought Murphy was lucky to make it out of that game with a W tonight. Seemed like a bad play call to end the game for EW. If Murphy qb can throw the ball well next week it could be interesting.
Someone said first of the week that half the team had the flu. You think that slowed them down any tonight?
huh oh..here we go...EW had a lot to do with slowing Murphy down...good win...lets keep it at that..
There were several starters sick but a lot of teams are dealing with sick kids this time of year, I think it might have played some role but the fact of the matter is Murphy has been prone to giving up big plays on D all year and tonight was no different
Just curious Mitchell has serval with the flu as well. But the boys on these teams are tuff and fight thru it.
EW does a great job with playcalling for the most part....They are very good at keeping teams off balance..but the last series had some bone headed plays called that EW fans will be shaking their heads in disgust for years!!! Simply put..they should have scored..but playcalling mixed with Murphy bend but dont break D...prevailed in the redzone the last 2 or 3 plays.
They were. East Wilkes had a strong game plan offensively and they played well, Murphy was very fortunate to win tonight.
I agree with that but Murphy put themselves behind the 8 ball from the jump by opting to pooch kick and then getting an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to put East Wilkes in excellent field position to start their drive.
I think it's fair to say that East Wilkes played a big part in how Murphy looked on D but Murphy did themselves no favors either with some of the miscues and mistakes on that side of the ball. The way they looked on those screen plays in particular was pathetic.
It’s the silly penalties that really get under my skin! They had several tonight (a lot of them were of the 15 yard variety) but the worst one was the last one that gave EW the ball on the Murphy 35 to start that last drive. Murphy shot themselves in the foot as usual (for this year), and EW was much better than advertised. Murphy was very fortunate to win tonight.
Enjoyed watching this game. I had the Burns game on the TV and went back and forth on EW ,Andrews, Thomasville games
Very True...Murphy was very physical on Offense...and the play to end the 1st half for Murphy...geesh!! Great momentum builder. But on a side note. Not talkin junk about Murphy or EW..but MA beat the absolute Shyznit out of EW..and its gonna take a gargantuan effort from everybody left in the west to knock them off..but who knows how they will play on the road this deep in the playoffs..but they are really..really good.
I definitely agree with that. I said from the beginning MA was the team to beat in the west in my opinion. I do think out of all the other teams in the west that Andrews has a legitimate shot of playing with them given their style of play, the fact that they're stout against the run defensively, have a great group of senior leaders and would be playing at home in that scenario. I think MA - Andrews would be a good game.

I'm not counting out Murphy either, I just think objectively speaking MA - Andrews is the most intriguing potential matchup in the 1A west this year.
I will say this, #28 for Murphy is the truth, no telling how many yards after contact he had last night. He's now over 2,000 yards rushing for the year on 10 yards a carry. I'm pretty sure he's the leading rusher in 1A after this game and that's with not becoming the starting RB until halfway through the 3rd game this season when #34 went down.

EW lost that game on two plays. The 60 yard run with no time left in the first half was inexcusable. The for sure interception that ended up a TD catch was a back breaker.
Very true Deerhunter...Very True....just bat the ball down if you can't catch!! And on the very last play...did he throw it across his body with his left hand too!!..#5 should have had at least one of those last 3 touhes...Murphy had no answer for him..just like EW had no answer for #28
The int I first thought the ball went right though his hands but rewind it and it looked like the ball was higher than I thought may have been at the top of his fingers but I agree about the big TD run at the end of the half that was the one I was from EW I would have been more upset about shouldn't have happened.
