East Forsyth in a close one, East defense is elite…Luke Vandergrift is the best DE at 6’4 265 I’ve seen in quite sometime and it’s easy to see why Grimsley only scored 13pts on them.

If Mooresville keeps this game close or even win it we know they have improved good bit from beginning of the season. I say EF will win it but they will have to earn it.

It’s not Christmas time but Mooresvilles secondary is getting lite up like a Christmas tree😂
Another long TD pass. Receiver dropped it the first time so they called a Play Action to the same post the next play and got it. The whole home side knew it as soon as they snapped the ball

What a game. Anyone was there got their monies worth. I will say dropped passes hurt EF costing a score or two. Doesn’t matter. Mooresville has shown lot of progress. i figure they would get better. Mooresville n Lake Norman will set a huge matchup.

It was close one and EF had their chances. I believe Mooresville big crowd helped alot. The players for Mooresville didn’t give up. One of the best games I seen in long time.

🤨🤨
I know they got some DUDES on that EF defense… but my lord they were absolutely GASSED in the second half. There had to be like 15 stoppages for cramps alone from that side of the ball lol

Thought the EF qb balled out. Idk his name but he threw some dots under pressure tonight, especially a few rolling out of the pocket.

As for us…. We’re seeing the progress every week. Let a couple slip away early, gave Hough a qtr and a half last week… and used some of that momentum to get a massive win. I think a lot of tonight, you saw the benefits to playing the schedule that we do. Physically, we were better conditioned it felt like.

A much needed night for us. Badly. I sure hope both these schools keep this game on the schedules beyond this year… there has been some BATTLES between these two the last 3 years. Would love to see this keep going.

Also shout out to our crowd… place felt like a playoff game. The energy was wild. And that’s hard to do when you’re 0-4 and struggling.

and shoutout to the Easy fans that made the trip. Long trip for a Thursday night and a good bit of yall made it down!

What a game. I feel East had the game won when they went up by double digits. Jackson played a hell of a game #12 for East. Counted multiple td drops for East. Bad loss but I think this lost is going to motivate the players at East.

Mooresville Qb was awesome tonight. Chance Bost and Kyler came up huge tonight. Great game

In all honestly after seeing Lake Norman last week and East Forsyth this week. Not knocking on EF but Lake Norman would be the better of the two teams from what I saw. Perhaps EF just had a bad night. I know it didn’t help with players going down with cramps and such. Also home field played a big advantage for Mooresville. They brought the crowd and energy in this one. And EF didn’t have that many fans. Understandable considering the drive and being on a Thursday night. Dropped passes also hurt EF as well. And I will add one more thing. Mooresville stopping EF at the 2 yard line on 4th down in 4th quarter was huge. Had East scored they would have won it.

After they went up 2 TDs I even saw some people in the crowd leave.

I think strength of schedule gave Mooresville much better preparation than East. Going against Weddington, Hough definitely paid off. If East Forsyth plays tougher out of conference games I think it’ll help them out long term. Would love to see

East Forsyth (GA) vs East Forsyth (NC)
East Forsyth vs. Crest
East Forsyth vs. Cardinal Gibbons

I wished some how that Mooresville could be in the Forsyth Co conference with East and West Forsyth and even Reagan. Talking about good matchup. I understand distance travel would be an issue. But talking about good gate money.
