I would not say that until after the RM game. Don’t forget about the western Alamance they look good as well. Havelock is flying under the radar looking forward to see how they do Friday and of course Jacksonville. I like that no one is really looking our way since we have a new HC. I am curious to see how we do later in the season myself. Northeastern Northside and Jax are our three toughest games we have left

Well I can say this, every bit of credibility given to JHS this year is based on last year's achievements. We barely beat a mediocre East Duplin team, same with Kinston. We are NOT last year's team. With that being said we certainly have the players and coaches that can get it done. I'm just trying to be realistic. The Northside and Havelock games will let us know real quick.

I'm not sure there is a 3a team on the East that can stop SN running game. If a team does that then the East is wide open, but that's a tough task.

I can assure you this my friend. I can’t speak for anyone else but I can promise that the Cards are not looking past the Rams at all. After 12 years of butt kickings and after last years game we know that they are ready for us. We have have got to get it together offensively. Defense is pretty good. We will find out what we are made of against Northside and Havelock. If we survive those two task. Look for a deep playoff run.

Lol I don’t think there’s anyone in 3a that can stop southern Nash running game best bet would be to blitz every single play and force them to pass because they are huge if you have the secondary to play man all game I would blitz every single play that’s the only way I see them losing

And I think Havelock has the secondary to do that

Everyone always thinking very highly of that Conf and I am not putting them down by any means for the last 5 years or so other than the year RM went to the ship their payoff runs have been pretty disappointing. But time will tell. I am a Coastal Conf guy and I look forward to all the games until the end. Good luck to everyone from here on out it is put up or shut up time.

I think havelock schedule is tougher than southern Nash schedule but they did beat jh rose pretty good who took new Bern to the wire I would say this though I do believe havelock could have beat new Bern you can’t keep killing your self with penalties and expect to win

Simmons has Havelock SOS at 12, Southern Nash at 93.

I was worried about the Rose game as it was the first time going against a true throwing team. We gave up 21 in the first half but settled down and only gave up 1 TD in the second half. We also had 3 turnovers in the first half. Playing a ton of 9th and 10th graders but they're getting better each week.

I don’t really go by the simmon ratings I go by what teams are playing who and how well those teams are doing compared to the other teams and who they playing because look at Wallace havelock held them to 7 points but yet Wallace took wake forest to the wire and put up 28 on them lol

That was my point exactly like Wallace is a great team that’s why idc for that sos stuff our conference is actually pretty good this year most have winning records outside of maybe west carteret
I'm with you. Havelock got talent, new coach still got to prove himself. Northeastern I don't think makes mistakes like we did. Should be considered upset if NE wins.

Not knocking the Alamance schools, but in recent years they have not had the fire power Jacksonville or Havelock have had. I know we are down a little bit, but I'm betting we are still way faster then they are.

I don’t think we would have been ready for Dillion as we all saw in the NB game big games like that need to be the 3rd or 4th game the 1st game of the year is some what sloppy. Next year we will see for sure

Well here is what everyone will find out. Is Northside as good as everyone thinks they are? Is Havelock back on track? Is Jacksonville as bad as everyone seem to think. The next 2 weeks will tell us all. Good luck to everyone this week.

Eastern Alamance has a great passing offense according to those who have seen them. Better than in previous years, obviously defense is probably going to be a question mark deep in the playoffs, but think they are more than capable of making a run.

Only a rumor!Even if he was Varner is a capable backup who starts on any team if the area. Just won’t beat you with all the speed that Tymir has.
So he is not having any kind of surgery then? Ok cool... Cuz while they may have backups that are capable, that team surrounds him and they dont have a replacement for him no matter what anyone says lol

Jacksonville is not bad. They are just like Havelock, young and working through kinks. We will be fine....

From what little I have seen it's going to be between Havelock and Jacksonville in conf. My money now would be on Havelock. Will they represent the east? I haven't looked at teams outside that conf yet. Havelocks kids that are Jr, and Sr have some valuable playoff experience.

And alot if them felt the pain from that meltdown in the ECF last year lol

Southern Nash SOS is terrible, only wya it’s hurt them though is if they lose to Rocky Mount!! No reason to disrespect RM though, Most of SN this year is Quinton Cooley, shut him down and make everyone else beat you!! Can’t forget Rocky Mount shut rose out 35-0!! Played horrible against NE with multiple Turnovers!! Other than that, don’t take this RM team lightly, whoever wins the SN vs RM game Forsure will get home field advantage for the playoffs!! Will be a huge game deciding playoff seeding Forsure!!
