Any chance in the world we could pull Kendal Briles from TCU? He's the guy I wanted when we hired Leach.

I'm guessing he's HCIW at TCU and making big bank, so I'm sure it's a long shot.

I have no insight into a coaching search/hire, but my instincts tell me Zac Selmon would not fire a coach without having dug deep on possible replacements, how they must fit MSU, contacts with "friends" he has in athletics, etc.
Those in the know expound please. I just have to believe he has a list in preferred order. 5-6 names??

Not one person on that list is a for sure candidate. Not one.

Briles is struggling at TCU. Lebby is struggling. Fritz has one good year ? Maybe 2. Sumrall might be decent. Liepold Chadwell and Herman in that order. Maybe flip Chadwell and Liepold. Then I would go Traylor or Kinne. Kinne works the portal well. He is young too.
