E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! Birds - Seahawks game thread

[Tom McAndrew]

So it was Seattle's Taylor that rolled onto the back of Lane's leg, while he was tackling the ball carrier

[Tom McAndrew]

The weekly Dickerson false start penalty. smh

[Tom McAndrew]

wtf was that on 3rd down? Hurts should have hit DeVonta on the crossing pattern

That’s been happening all season. Jalen isn’t seeing the game well. I’d love to see a downfield view on his scrambles. I bet dollars to donuts that there are open reads he’s not seeing.

[BobPSU92]

I think they heard you.

Sidebar - Watching Hurts run a few times tonight, I wonder how much the lack of QB runs (for good reasons) have negatively affected the offense so far this year.

I’d think the lack of the runs would be good for the offense.

By the way, how is Hurts feeling?

[anon1793628996]

As predictable as a Dickerson false start.

[nittanyfan333]

He hasn’t been right all season. I think it’s pec or shoulder or biceps or something. If he can’t hurt it more I’m ok getting 10-15 reps a game from him but might think about shutting him down and getting it fixed

[BobPSU92]

Sydney Brown laughs at tackling.

I’m starting to get concerned with him. Hopefully they can fix this. This ain’t the NCAA bubba, you gotta wrap up. Getting there violently doesn’t work….

Just ask Brandon Smith

[Nothing Special]

Sydney Brown laughs at tackling.

In his defense (no pun intended), he is consistent. He's missed tackles against the run, against the pass and on special teams.

He needs 10-15 more pounds of good weight. It’s still early but Smith has that bust feel to him. He’s been a ghost when out there.

I can see why you’d feel like that, but I’m not there yet 15 games into his rookie season. He’s got tons of athleticism but you’re spot on he needs a solid NFL offseason to add some weight.

[WestSideLion]

That’s a BS call.

[Tom McAndrew]

the QB's knee was down (and thus a sack by Carter) on what was ruled an incomplete pass. Challenge the call, Nick

and he did

[s1uggo72]

I’ll say this. The more Seattle is in the shot gun the better off we are

[Tom McAndrew]

and the call is reversed, and a sack is awarded.

Brings up a 43-yard FG attempt for Seattle.

and it's good.

17-13, Birds, with 10:00 left in the 4th qtr

[WestSideLion]

That was a big turn of events. Nice play by Carter. Most won’t appreciate how great a play that was.

[Tom McAndrew]

why do they even throw the ball in the direction of Watkins? He never fights for it.

INT by Seattle in the endzone.

[s1uggo72]

SMH. Weak effort by Hurts weaker by Watkins

[WestSideLion]

Wow. That’s a tough turn. The Eagles were moving and Hurts throws a deep pick in the end zone. Even a FG there is huge.

Although after the Pi onBradberry. There was more on that play

The short PIs are easy to call. Deep throws to the end zone seem to need to be egregious.

He set that up all game. graham does that all the time (sets up moves for the end of the game). The rook is learning well

[Tom McAndrew]

nice run by D'Andre, and then he slides down to keep the clock running

[Tom McAndrew]

punt by the Birds downed at the Seattle 8.

1:52 left in the game. Birds lead 17-13.

whatcha got, Matt Patricia?

[WestSideLion]

They can’t get the final first down they need to effectively end the game. Seattle has its shot to win.

[nittanyfan333]

Alright Mr. Patricia.

[s1uggo72]

Finding out about the D. I don’t think Seattle has the time to just run it down our thoughts. So it’s more on locke than Walker

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned. Metcalf, Lockett, JSN…….

[s1uggo72]

Long 33 sec

[WestSideLion]

What a way to lose. 92 yard TD drive with 2 mins left and one timeout. This team is cooked.

Sean Desai is smiling.

[Tom McAndrew]

TD, Seattle, with 28 sec left. smh

[Tom McAndrew]

20-17, Seattle, with 28 sec left.

Birds have 3 TOs left.

[s1uggo72]

I said last week Bradbury is killing them

[WestSideLion]

Let’s take a moment to appreciate how appalling this loss is. Wow.

[Tom McAndrew]

Bradberry has no safety help, so the biggest issue for him is to not let the WR get behind him. FAILED

[Tom McAndrew]

INT by Seattle on a deep pass to A.J. Brown. smh

just a disaster of a game for the Birds
