I liked the way Siriani called the plays. Perhaps in some ways he simplified a couple of things with the backup being elevated to starter, but I really liked those tight end screens.

You folks (except for the Jets fans) can thank me (I think). I only had a 45-minute window to listen to the game. And that happened to be when the Jets scored on 3 straight series. When I stopped listening to the game, the Jets were up 18-14. It appears that my departure was well timed, as the Birds did quite well after I departed.

Nice to come home and find out that the Birds improved their performance on both sides of the ball after I stopped following the game.

Goedert is quite a weapon. Until today, I failed to understand why they extended him. Hurts hasn’t targeted him much at all. Some of that may also be play calls.

Meh. Let’s look at those other five games: 41, 42, 28, 33 and 27.

The defense isn’t in the same ballpark as good. I don’t know how much of that’s on Gannon, but today was awful.

It feels as is they’re using the Rocky Balboa plan against Clubber Lang: tire out offenses by making them nickel and dime their way down the field.
