This was the same Nick as all season. He makes dumb decisions and backs an incompetent OC.

The talent on this roster wins in spite of him.

Didn't see the first half. Who was the receiver who got a penalty on the 2-yard line by spinning the ball at the defender? That would have probably been a TD, then McKee threw an interception.

Copper. F’ing idiot. This would have been the easiest game to win all year.

In addition to SiriannI ….Corner play cost us the game. Take your pick….both corners sucked. Offensive game plan tepid at best. Back up QB Tanner M not ready for prime time….had a bad 4th qtr.

Looking closer : Penalties….Eagles 9 for 123 yards Washington 4 for 19 yards. That my friends ….is where the game was lost. Add a lousy, uneven offensive game plan with uneven play calls and that is the perfect recipe for a loss.

I liked him out of camp….not any more.
You get an opportunity and you aren’t mature enough to stay focused on the task at hand. I hope he’s gone in the offseason along with Ringo

That one stunt may have cost them the game and the #2 seed. Led to a 10-point swing. Commanders may still have gottern a FG before halftime, but it wouldn't have been as easy.

I saw a bunch of players not qualified to be in the NFL.

Just warming up enough to post.

What a frustrating game, on so many levels. Especially with the Lions upsetting the Bears.

I'd have to watch a replay to see if the OL was letting McKee down. But if if they were, his passes, even when not under pressure, were not all that good. He was especially poor in the 4th quarter.

The fans at the stadium were not all that pleased with the refs, with so many calls against the Birds. Interestingly, the video boards showed replays of most of the early calls that went against the Birds, but didn't show replays of the last several calls. A couple of the calls sure looked suspect in the single replay that played in the stadium, but again, I didn't have a chance to see multiple angles, multiple replays, etc.

The coaching staff was driving us crazy with their personnel decisions. Bigsby was, without a doubt, the best runner for the Birds. And yet, every time he got rolling, he would be subbed out, and the O would bog down.

What Ringo was doing on the Commanders final TD is beyond comprehension. He has the QB in his sights, and could have stopped him short of the goal line. And yet, he suddenly turned to cover the receiver behind him, which allowed the QB to walk into the endzone.

Very, very frustrating.

Oh well, time to regroup and get ready for the playoffs.

And he had coverage help behind him!

Frustrating for sure, but it’s obvious that those that call the shots know better than us couch coaches, as to why they do what they do.
Sorry I was so critical in my earlier posts in this thread. Wish there was a post delete key available. When I think of how many years as an Eagles fan we had crap teams with no hope, I’m grateful for what we have had lately.
Hoping now that the team gets hot and comes on strong and kicks some ***.
Go Eagles! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅

As lifelong Eagles fans, we know how rare these winning windows are. That’s why we take dumb mistakes and squandering opportunities so hard.

If this season isn’t the end of this window, then next season will be. The offense has some aging stars and young players on D will need to be extended for big $.

They have to leave it all on the table and try to win now.

It goes across other teams as well. As good as the 70s-80s Sixer teams were they only cashed in once. That was inexcusable. 2008 Phillies was a one and done even with more talented teams up through 2011. The Phils also never capitalized on all their talent bracketing 1980.

The Flyers were the only team to repeat in this town in the last 75 years. The Birds are built to repeat, but they’re going to blow it unless this offense at least pulls a little weight.

The one thing I take heart with is how much better the Eagles’ ownership is than those other franchises during what should have been multi year runs.
