From what I’m have heard I am not sure we want him
You said you don’t want Dylan. SMH
I genuinely believe that RU presents a unique opportunity both in the near and long term.
Dylan’s gotta do what feels right to him and is in his best interests.

I was going to turn over $50 million to you, but I guess you don't want it. You wouldn't lose any sleep over it.I don’t not want Dylan to come here. I would lose zero sleep if he went somewhere else.
I bet NBA players aren’t regularly hanging out in Kansas or Alamaba during the off-season getting their workouts in!!!
That gym in NYC hosts NBA players working on their game all off season long. Only 45 minutes from Rutgers campus.
It has zero impactNot really sure that has any impact.
Dylan would be on campus (any college campus - Kansas or Rutgers) from September through April.
Then he's gone.
He's not going to NYC to play in pickup games once he's on campus.

The irony in that is defense is what kept Dahntay in the NBA so longThe above reminds me of Dahntay Jones wanting to play the same type of fast game and Bannon insisting to keep every game in the 50s / 60s which was one of the reasons why Dahntay ended up transferring .
Yea all time bad post from FIG. Dylan has done absolutely nothing wrong here and has shown constant love for RU visiting tons of time. You said you don’t want Dylan. SMH

I don't know anything about the kid personally, but I'll take a top 25 kid who wants to be here and will likely be here for three years over a top five kid who is iffy about us and probably only stays for one year. I actually think its a no brainer.
Yea all time bad post from FIG. Dylan has done absolutely nothing wrong here and has shown constant love for RU visiting tons of time.
Now if he already committed and wanted to take other visits I could see that argument but right now it's absurd
Dylan is making the biggest decision of his life with millions of dollars on the line. He can take his time if he wants. He can take all his visits if he wants. None of that means he's causing problems or doesn't want to be here, or is some diva
I'm not going to bash Dylan over rumors of a silent commitHaven't there been reports/rumors of a "silent commitment"?
Specifically, rumors that is why Warren decommited early this year because he was tipped off Dylan was a "silent committed"?
And that Michael Jordan had an okay career in the NBA desire being 'held back' offensively by Dean Smith. The irony in that is defense is what kept Dahntay in the NBA so long
AgreedOne source puts out that he's in Auburn (which then is posted here), but that's obviously false when there is video of him elsewhere. There were reports that he was likely going to Kansas last weekend, but he stayed home and was at the football game with his brother.
Dylan deserves to go through the process at his speed and he's taking additional time. Hanging on every report isn't healthy for us (at least not for me). Sure, there's an excitement to the process of potentially landing the #2/3 recruit, but at this point I'll just get the weekly update in the pod and wait until real news breaks.
does he really have a NIL agent?Sounds like Dylan is "shopping around". Literally. He's seeing what NIL deals are out there and then seeing how or if RU matches it. Still think he's leaning RU but he has a NIL agent who is doing a pretty good job squeezing as much $ as they can out of it. I mean if Auburn/Kansas offers him way way more than RU then it might be hard to turn down. He's acting no different than anyone else would when looking for a new job. Weighing pros and cons etc

"Free reigns are unlikely to be in anyone's interest" - what a great line. And that Michael Jordan had an okay career in the NBA desire being 'held back' offensively by Dean Smith.
What is best for his future development includes further8ng both his skills and his discipline in practice and in games.
I hope he does the do it here, with Pike and Ace.
Free reigns are unlikely to be in anyone's best interest.
I'm sure his parents can handle it.does he really have a NIL agent?
He does and he needs one. A lot of examples of kids getting promised NIL $$ and not getting it.does he really have a NIL agent?
Again, for one year NIL money his parents can handle it. It would be a waste IMO.He does and he needs one. A lot of examples of kids getting promised NIL $$ and not getting it.

These are hugely important decisions with major financial implications. You want professionals in your cornerOne year?
He's going to be negotiating endorsement deals for a decade.
Anyone signing a legal document involving several hundred thousand dollars would be an idiot not to have it reviewed by an agent or legal counsel.Again, for one year NIL money his parents can handle it. It would be a waste IMO.
Is their some rule that says an NIL agent has to be a players agent for the rest of his career? I would think his father has been around long enough to handle Nil, and then when he leaves for the NBA he gets an agent. Rutgers is not going to screw Dylan Harper. Spending 50-100,000 dollars on an agent would be a waste. At least that's what I think. One year?

Ron Sr. is not an expert with legal contracts, and athletes who have tried to represent themselves have routinely to take advantage of. In Dylan’s case, the rumor is Addias is ponying up NIL for him, and Addias would surely be interested to try and lock him into something longer term because he is an expected lottery pick. On the other hand it is in Dylan’s interest to hold off on making any decisions about sneaker endorsements until after he is drafted, when his value will be a lot higher particularly if he ends up in a big market, and he can hear all the pitches from the different companies and play them off each other. It would be a disaster for him if something got into the contract that impacted his ability to negotiate with the other sneaker companies after he is drafted, and probably also doesn’t want to be seen as endorsing Addias in any way now, where it could hurt his ability to choose an company as his potential long term partner. Is there some rule that says an NIL agent has to be a players agent for the rest of his career? Is he in a box with Bill Self eating caviar? He posted a picture at the US Open. Not that it means much, but for you people who want to stalk, now you know lol
Not if he doesn't get paid the $$.Again, for one year NIL money his parents can handle it. It would be a waste IMO.
I think he would be on campus june to March … if we are lucky April .Not really sure that has any impact.

Yeah I think I there is some type of team activities/instruction in the summerI thought we only had summer practice and players on campus so early because of the overseas trip.
Do basketball players typically get on campus so early?
"A Man Who Is His Own Lawyer Has a Fool for a Client"Is there something that says he has to wait until getting to the NBA?
He's not signing a contract with Rutgers.
He's signing with Addidas (I believe).
Considering how successful his father was, I would imagine his first recommendation ti Dylan would be to get proper representation for busniess deals.
What's ADDIDAS?"A Man Who Is His Own Lawyer Has a Fool for a Client"
