That is what I say about most of the color guys. Just constant yapping without ever telling the listeners anything they don’t know. It’s truly a lost art. Then they digress into some absolute nonsense.
If you are listening to the TV audio, you have only yourself to blame. So just shut up and endure it.

I’ve never been a fan of that approach and have done it. There are some color commentators I enjoy because they are good at their craft. The point of this thread was to simply comment on Dykes and his weird approach to the job. Somehow you lack the mental capacity to understand how that works. It’s “Too” bad since we are talking about mental capacity.
In the mean time I listen to Pratt and Leach instead of pissing and moaning about some dude named Dykes.
During time outs I continue to listen to Pratt and Leach while you obviously can’t figure out how to make that happen. How sad. But, look on the bright side, you get to continue to piss and moan about some dumb dork named Dykes. He must be your hero.

I didn't watch but I know what you're saying. Honestly though, If UK is 18-5 it's more tolerable.
IMO he nailed exactly what has gone wrong with the Kentucky basketball program this year. Also provided a bit of insight into Calipari's mindset after an absolute clusterfawk of a season.
Sounded like there 'might' be some changes coming in the off season. Dykes repeatedly said "everything is on the table". So, considering Calipari isn't going anywhere, that gives me a very slight glimmer of hope. It's about all we have left at this point.
