Jake good post! I think part of Tre's shooting woes may be he's always been able to score the ball off drives in his pre-Duke days. He will certainly see more sagging and intricate defensive strategies at this level, and simply doesnt have confidence in his outside shot.(As I say I dont believe he's really had to rely on it given his ability to drive.)
In another post I said I didnt place all the blame on Tre for that corner 3 pt J Saturday because we dont know what was communicated by K in the time-out. Obviously I know K didnt draw that play up, but something was lost in the communicaton. It was a very UN-DUKE LIKE possession for the closing stages of a pulsating conference game on the road. 4 of our 5 players touched the ball- except for perhaps our best option, Bagley.
We have time to grow and learn from those situations, and am confident we will w/the G.O.A.T at the helm!
