I think a special showing of Crocodile Dundee is in order to celebrate the grand re-opening!

That sounds cool and all, but I wonder who they found to put up the money for the renovations? I doubt they get their investment back as most theaters are struggling to put people in the seats.

Filmstreams is a non-profit, so they don't have to worry about turning a profit to stay in business, they have to worry about fundraising. And they got the money from the Sherwood Foundation, aka, Susie Buffett Foundation.

Speaking of Buffett has anyone watched the HBO documentary on him? Interesting..I didnt know about his relationship with his deceased wife and the fact that he had a live in caretaker/girlfriend/companion when she moved away.

I thought the documentary was really interesting. The market's down, so he can only get the $2.95 breakfast rather than the $3.17 breakfast from McDonald's. Strange dude, a genius for sure, but definitely strange.

Yeah. I got the feeling that he may be on the autism spectrum. He's a brilliant man, but his level of focus is...a little different than most peoples. That, and his wife and kids talked a lot about how he's a very literal, cut-off type of guy. Not because he's not nice, but because he's just wired that way. Frequently, brilliant people are like this.
