While I agree that we haven't been back to the level we were in the late 90s to early 2000s, I wouldn't call it a dumpster fire. We've had plenty of decent years with a couple of good years mixed in.

You sir, are an idiot.

The only thing that is a dumpster fire are your worthless posts. Please for the love of God remove yourself from this board.

Zit needs to donate to GHC so we can get a new dumpster.

I lobbied for him to be named coach, assistant coach, and university president. If only they would have done that, all our problems would be solved.

Good grief , he was a good player, but he isn't a freaking game changer ,.he was a role player at best , we will be fine without him. I still plan on making the trip to Stoolwater to watch us get the last laugh in 2017!

He looked really good early last year. We lost depth because of him. I think it's a significant loss.

We have a lot of role players then :). When he was healthy early on I thought he looked as good as any freshman big we've had since maybe Ruff

I think Sterling Taplin was more of a go to guy, I agree it is a loss, but I don't think it's a game changer, we have a ton of very capable players to have a solid team, imo , Junior was more of a go getter then Will. Look for Martins and Geno to replace our depth for him

Junior is 35 years old and a seasoned vet. Will is 19 with a high ceiling imo. Will was also our best interior player even as a freshman. Depth and defense are the big losses here. I do think Martins can be a star down the road btw.

He was pretty much also worthless after Christmas and an injury liability. We Will be just fine.

You say that until we start playing "ref ball" in conference season and some jagov fouls everyone out, which leaves us with Korita playing center.
At that point I think I'd just tell him to try and make a diving save near the baseline and tackle the ref.

Yeah we don't get to do that. And it shouldn't be an issue. But the officials in this sport are terrible and having three guys 6'7 or taller is not good. They actively try to screw teams like that.

For three games he was our best big Freshman in years. Everyone says he had a "nagging injury" but I never heard any official word. It seemed to me he was just worn out with no energy after December. Couldn't jump or move like December.

When I saw him in practice recently he still looked like he did in February. That's why I left him out of my starting lineup predictions last week. Now Igbanu and Jeffries are another matter. They are ready.

It was pretty clear he had some sort of shoulder issue when he played with a harness on it for a few games. Any time he took a hit on the shoulder he hung his arm like it had become detached. All I could keep thinking was John Fitzgerald and subluxation.
