I mean, I like our team but at this point if you're obsessed about us that's just sad. So far our team has achieved only lifting itself up from rock bottom bad to maybe mediocre. Being envious of that shows a program truly in the basement.
I find it bizarre how the fans bases of certain schools obsess on Rutgers.

honestly, I have noticed there is FAR more talk about Rutgers on the Seton Hall board (than vice versa). not a fraction of 400 pages (to be fair) but undeniably far more than our fans discuss SHU. Why is that? Particularly, since SHU, on average, has been considerably better than RU over the last decade. why obsess over a team youre better than? I havent noticed if their RU-obsession has grown or faded over the last few years now that we're even with them.

This article by T Hunt is awesome. His best ever. We didn’t dominate on the field today. But the article shows what real dominance looks like. If Cuse wants to keep playing us (and reports are they do), they better get used to taking the L.
Because those types of schools know that an RU that is successful and well run will mean the end of their relative success. It's hard enough as it is to be good with so many blue bloods but if you fall behind us in the pecking order for recruits, good night. They have no chance of being dangerous

I didn’t mention temple cause they don’t seem to have a fan base. I personally have never encountered a Temple fan in real life or on-line
The week leading up to the game, Temple talked more crap than SU fans. After the game, they went off the deep end with excuses and began to argue with one another.

It compares recent Cuse recruiting to Rutgers recruiting in detail. It paints a picture of total Rutgers dominance. Feels like we picked up right where we left off when Schiano left. Cuse is recruiting at Ash level. 58the ranked class with no 4!stars. Also details how we are dominating head to head recruiting.
My take away is that if they couldn’t beat us today, they won’t for a long long time. That’s if we even want to play them. Reports are they want to play us, but GS was ambivalent about keeping it going.

either way I’ve been on rivals (under this Username and a previous one) since the very beginning of the first schiano era (possibly slightly earlier - don’t remember) and I can tell you I’ve never personally encountered a temple fan. Ever.
Ash was able to recruit Micah Clark, Art Sitkowski, Tyshon Fogg, and Bo Melton.
Babers (Cuse) was able to recruit Duce Chestnut this past year. I understand that Schiano cooled off on him due to his speed, but he definitely played a role in shutting down our pass yesterday.
No reason to obsess about Syracuse. They're not in our conference, they're not good and they're currently not much of a rival for regional recruits. We are not ready to challenge Penn State yet but they're a far more formidable rival and beating them is a much bigger feather in the cap.
