I remember at the beginning of the season, Duke was holding teams to like 20% from 3. Look what they did in the ACC Tournament:

Clemson: 4/16
Louisville: 4/21
UNC: 5/22
Notre Dame: 6/25
Total: 19/84 or 22.6%

I know our overall defense has a perception of not being good (we are 39th per KenPom IIRC), but if we are taking away the 3 from teams, that will be huge, especially since we tend to make a lot of 3's and 3 > 2, lol.

Duke is the # 1 team in the ACC at 3-point defense at 29%. I thought they didn't play D? K has ran the math and he knows 3 beats 2. He's willing to give up more inside to limit the long ball.

If they can continue that trend, that would be huge in their current bracket. They have a potential 2nd round matchup with the #1 three point shooting team in the country.

Yea, I'm with DD, nobody ever seems to discuss our stamina. Our kids always seem to be in better shape. And it helps at end game for sure.
Yea did everyone notice late in the second half of the holes game? They were the ones bent over holding their shorts. Our guys looked fresh.
