I hope I’m wrong but it was obvious before the season that the fix was in. No other school besides UNCAA could’ve gotten Bagley and Duval eligible, let alone in one week.
Why is it obvious that a 2 seed with 7 losses will win the title?

They're only beating a trash Syracuse team by a point right now and you're declaring them Champs? Did you not just watch Villanova demolish West Virginia?

At least one of KU and Duke won’t make the F4. I’m hoping it’s Michigan. I once loved a grad from a northern suberb of Toledo that was actually in Michigan. She was an Irish redhead, always my fav. That’s my angle now. If not them then Loyoyta the ultimate Cinderella.

I didn't bother to watch it. Let me guess- 15 more FTs for dook, even though SU played all zone?

I don't think they get by the Cuse.
You really think Cuse had a shot? They didn't have enough offense to beat Duke. That's why I was pulling for MSU. I don't think they would've won either but they had enough talent to win if they played well. I'd rather see anybody win it but Duke. I'm telling you the NCAA is as rigged as WWE now. It happened last year with UNCAA with the refs bailing them out against Arkansas and UK.

I realize a lot of people on this board are getting tired of conspiracy theories.

But, I have to agree with poster who said Arkansas got screwed against UNC last year.

The 5 on 8 started last 7 or 8 minutes of game when it looked like the Hogs were well in control.

I remember laughing at some of the calls that got UNCheat back in the game.

I turned last night’s game off at halftime. It was obvious that Syracuse had no chance because they outshot and outrebounded Duke and were still down 7. Both teams play zone, yet one team had twice as many fouls.

Yes I remember laughing too and said to myself Arkansas doesn't realize they don't have a chance. If it happened to anybody though I'm glad it was Mike Anderson.

Duke could go back to back with that group they have coming in next year.

Going to be tough to take out Kansas, in what's virtually a home game. I don't see the Jayhawks crumbling under pressure, too many upperclassmen compared to Duke's youth.

It'll be interested to see how the NCAA handles protecting both schools, because they'll have to pick.

Also, I'm putting some odds on K announcing his retirement if they win the title, to hang it up after 2019. He'll be 73 by the end of the 2020 season and he's clearly slowing down, if you heard any of his interviews.

He knows his school just got put on notice by the FBI/NCAA, he has a monster class coming in, he'll want to do his fairwell tour and he has to see that the NBA is going to make some big changes that will affect the 1AD system. You add all that together, and it makes perfect sense to pack it in by end of next year.

I can see it now, with his fawning media: "K's great run started with back-to-back, and he will finish it with back-to-back!"

But he's not going soon, now... got the Nike pipeline firmly in place. With his advantages, he might even outlast Cal.

Maybe, but his health really seems to be deteriorating. Have you seen his interviews lately? Good lord, they should start calling him mumbles.. I have to imagine the next 2-3 years aren't going to be kind for him and being able to remain as THE premier coach..

Duke may win it but don't sound stupid and say "the fix is in"
They're going to have a tough road... hopefully KU, Nova and Michigan.

Michigan will do the cha cha slide all the way to the championship game with ease..

You might be right on the health, but for the next few years, he'll have to stroke out or die on that sideline. I wouldn't be shocked if they started a co-coaching format with him and Capel. Krybabyschitzski gets credit for the wins, and Capel gets the losses. [laughing]

If it is rigged as u say.....does a little part of you think that it might have been rigged this year for you guys to win it? I mean you would be playing loyola today. 12,13,8,11 those are the seeds that stood in your way to the final four and its rigged for duke to win it. Legit

Iona and Rhode Island were no juggernaut teams. The South appears to have had the stronger double digit seeds.
