What a nice win! Pretty smooth. Nice to see an aggressive Grayson. Loved the bench play too. I thought Vrank had a couple nice tip outs on offensive rebounds. I only wonder why there was no Goldwire and very limited AOC?

We are tied for 2nd place with a chance to be by ourselves with a win on Sunday. Looking ahead, I would rather play Virginia on day three of the ACCT than on day two.

I was thinking about this as well. The reason I think we won by a larger margin while scoring less is the pace of the game. We worked through more of the clock on offense than usual and for the most part ended up taking really good shots. This and us limiting our turnovers led to way fewer transition opportunities for Va Tech which is by far the WORST part of our defense. We were able to pretty much continuously play them in the half court and our zone did a pretty good job. Basically.... we Virginia’d them.

Loved the ball movement. This is the way we need to play on offense from here forward. Bagley needs to just blend right in and not be the focal point. Carter showed how to pass out of the post. Grayson was looking for his shot and he is our best post feeder. That's why the ball needs to be in his hands more than anyone else. The 3 games without Bagley Grayson has averaged 28 points.

Really nice game by the guys tonight. Jav played great minutes. It looked like Trevon was actually playing the 2 guard early on and I was questioning it but he took it in stride and didn't force much which was great. Clemson took the loss so hopefully we have Bags back on Sunday!!

Games like tonight still give me hope for a NC. The issue I keep coming back to is turnovers and lack of effort on defense for 4-5 minute stretches. I am hoping that these young guys understand that either they want to give 100% effort, every possession, on the defensive end or they don't. Maybe we will see 6 special games come March.
