Surely everyone knows I'm not a troll, so hopefully I won't get blasted for saying this. But there is also a video going around that shows what many people think is a trip attempt on Guy. I don't know if it is, but it at a least looks unnatural.

I feel like Grayson has to be dealing with things off the court. He just hasn't been what we know he can be.

No one thinks you're a troll, Mpm. I saw that vid too, but there is contact between the screener, and Grayson which seems to knock Grayson off balance...if you notice his 2 feet come together almost on top of one another. It looks like he tries to regain his balance by swinging out his back leg.

The other thing is, this is what it's come to...the haters play every damn game back frame by frame looking for anything even remotely looking out of the ordinary when it comes to Grayson. If you do this to any player you can come up with plays that can be argued into almost any agenda you want.
I bet no one was too worried about the Virginia player swinging his elbow into Grayson's face. Holy hell would have broken out if that were reversed.

Having Grayson come off the bench really does nothing for me. I don't think K needs to get that cute.

We didn't play well at all on Saturday and still almost found a way to get it done. The BC and State games were much more alarming, IMO. On Saturday, we just lost to a really good team.

And yes, more bench play should happen. But, it sounds as though Alex was sick the latter half of the week and Javin is still fighting the hamstring injury. Obviously Bolden is still dealing with the knee, too. Those are our eight guys. I thought maybe Jack could have stolen a few minutes, but I'm not the coach.

Time for the guys to move on and get after it tonight.

Dirt and Mpm277 I hadn't even seen it until last night and wasn't going to bring it up for reasons that Mpm stated.
Lately and unfortunately many posters have become very thin skinned it seems when you say anything critical of Dukes play and unless you are one of the anointed ones I am talking about who says it then you are not a true fan and thats not a good thing as it makes us sound like simpletons on the UNC board. Sadly if you say anything on this board about the team not doing well you are some sort of troll. It seems there are a select few who feel they are the only ones allowed to offer constructive criticism. Anyone who thinks I am a troll can kiss me where the sun doesn't shine until the sun goes down. I am frustrated when I read some of the stuff by those who only come out when we lose but hey, thats what happens on free forum boards.

But back to the tripping possibility by Grayson. I would have to say it looks like he definitely sticks his leg out but have no idea it he was attempting to trip or not or was trying to get past a screen. Given his past history tripping and his recent play there's something going on thats very different. He's no longer our go to guy for points but his hustle has been tremendous. Maybe he's very frustrated and we know he's an emotional player and thats one reason so many Dukies like him and outsiders hate him. I know we need his shooting and scoring back in order to advance in a tournament be it ACC or NCAA,

Grayson coming off the bench makes no sense. We keep on talking about it but Grayson is gonna come around. We can't see everything going on the court but I feel it's safe to say Grayson gets his share of cheap shots. Let's not give up on him. He had his chance to avoid all the verbal and physical abuse he's getting but he came back. We need him fella's. OFC

Completely agree. But my confidence in him is starting to slip. I hate to even bring this up, but on the Rivals Main board there's a thread about him and Berry. Plain as day shows him trying to trip Guy in 1st half. I've felt he wasn't acting right that game, that he looked extremely irritated, and I saw him a few times getting on to his teammates. Then his reaction when he caught the elbow. He hasn't been our Grayson since 2016. We've seen spots where he's the player we want, but something ain't right with him. My opinion is his teammates. Read it how you want to.
I don't think a few of the guys look to him, most notably Duval. Sorry if that ruffles any feathers, but that's the way I see it.

Honestly I don’t ever want to hear about Grayson’s tripping. There have been so many things done by other players on the court that is worse. I’m not saying Grayson’s tripping is nothing, but people are incapable of putting his tripping in proper perspective. Things have been done to Grayson on the court that is worse.
