Free throws and turnovers. Duvals was a killer. Live and learn. Probably takes the ACC crown out of reach. I really can’t stand UVA. They had no business winning that game.

They get 27 boards, we get 41.

We lose the turnover battle 16-5.
They hit 78% free throws, we hit 45%.......turnovers and free throws

We know our defense is suspect but we have to get better shooting free throws if we plan on making a run in the tourney! Yea, poor Duval with the bad pass but that's just a freshman mistake. The Hoos are so damn good at what they do!!

Virginia deserved to win. Duke made some dumb mistakes, bad shot selection, and couldn’t hit free throws to save their lives. Only positive is our Blue Devils did battle and the tar holes lost.

The elbow wasn't a tech, nothing on the refs. This is all on turnovers and free throws. Nobody to blame but overselves for this loss. Still a lot of growing to do for this squad.

Allen has 5 pts....that plus FT's and TO's were game changers. We need the early season Allen to come back...

Agree. As much as I love Allen, he has to be better than 5 points. I personally think he's too passive, then when he does shoot, it looks rushed. He wasn't relaxed, and wasn't looking to score. I realize we have 2 quality bigs, but Allen should be a little more selfish.
Watching Duval play is like riding a roller coaster. Much better second half, proud of team for that, but fumbled it away last few minutes.

I know people here aren't fond of Guy, but that WAS a clear foul on Grayson, and he pulled off an Oscar worthy performance with that neck snap back - to swat away Guy's hand, come on... that said, Duke had a great 2nd half.
