Duke has to play zone in the second half because they make a few screens and passes and the hoos have an open look. I think we settle down second half

Lucky to only be down ten. VA is very good on defense and this young offense is flustered. Hope they pull it together.

We need some serious halftime adjustments. We have to find a way to speed this game up. They can’t continue to take the air out of the ball for 30 seconds every possession.

And we need to grow a pair. They hold they scrap they are a tough nosed defense. We need to be much much stronger and smarter with the ball.

Hats off to Virginia so far they are much much better than I thought

Virginia is just that good. They have only looked rush twice and they have Dukes guards rattled.

Worse half of the year and I feel like we’re one big three and defensive stop away from bringing the roof down! First 5 will be big!

Serious question. How does Va double on the perimeter, double the post, not give up back doors, defend the 3, and not give up offensive rebounds?

I'm thinking we can't get worse this half. If someone can get hot and K can get a good stretch from the zone defense, we'll claw back into it.

I'm not sure we can win if Grayson can't find a way to get going. He may have to feed the bigs some to open it up.

I have faith we will claw back into this!

We only gave up 32, and had a few break downs. The problem was our being inept offensively. Grayson was bad, has to keep his composure. He was frustrated with his teammates on multiple occasions. We need him to get going. Duval is a head scratcher. So talented, yet so out of control. Need a good halftime talk by K.

Who plays in his place? Grayson and Trevon are lost too. Right now those three are a combined 3-for-16 from the floor with Grayson being 0-for-5.

Halftime couldn’t come soon enough. I’m thankful Hall missed that wide-open three in the corner that would have put them up 15. We’re down 10 and things can’t go much worse.

Bottom line is their guards are absolutely schooling Duke's guards. Look at the box score alone, that says it all.

That said, it's not over, but they can't wait for 4-6 minutes left against UVA; they need to strike early and often in the 2nd half.

We cannot keep them in front of us. Virginia contests every shot, at times it looks like they have 6 guys on the floor. Very well coached

Grayson has looked awful...duval has stunk it up too...duval with some just lazy *** passes...no energy at all

Dukes problem is no one is making jumpers and Virginia while not on some are defending the entry pass to the bigs.

Gotta go all out for the next twenty to win

I don’t know. Seems like Jerome is constantly sticking his free arm out and he’s pushed off at least twice. Wondering what everyone else is seeing.

Need our senior to step up and lead - but he's 0-5 shooting. Time to get out of that shooting slump. UVA organized on both sides of the ball... This is why I would love Bennett to be our next coach.
