***DUKE VS SYRACUSE OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Make your FT’s RJ!

[crazyduke3]

Bolden rebounding his tail off.

[DukeSky85]

Finish this off

[Jnood]

Why can’t we put this away?

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Didn’t need that foul there

[dbav]

Sorry, but I still wish Battle came to Duke.

[DukeSky85]

Make your FTs

[Jnood]

What does it take to get a foul? The answer is fallen on.

[dbav]

Bolden is a monster.

[Louisville Crazie]

Smart play by alex

[youngman42]

Bolden has played great and is a key to this game if we win.

I think the reason he doesn't get minutes is that he makes too many mental errors (stepping out of bounds; over the back; etc.). That's excusable if you are playing 30 minutes and making great plays. But, making those mistakes every game when he's only playing 10-15 minutes is just too problematic. K can't trust his consistency.

[PixelDevil]

Alex earned the start tonight. Javin played great as well.

[Hurley22]

Go ahead and dunk that AOC

[DukeRulesBasketball]

Reaper!

[dbav]

Game ball goes to the role players. Reaper, Javin and Bolden all played well.

[SwatX1]

I think the train is gonna make it back to the station!!!

[Jnood]

First blocking foul called this year.

[denverexpat]

Not a block...

[DukeSky85]

Give Alex the gameball

[SoCal_Dukie3]

Give me my crow, dammit.

Good game by AOC. Bolden with some key boards at the end.

[denverexpat]

Hope Boeheim doesnt do a Brey and keep calling TO's!

[youngman42]

I get playing O'Connel. Not sure about why White is not getting any minutes at all. He's not shot well at all. Atrocious really. But, he still plays hard on D and makes a lot of plays - tipping the ball, getting steals, etc.

I bet Kansas fans are hoping for that as well

And burning Baker's redshirt for 3 mins? Thats a weird one

[Louisville Crazie]

So proud of the guys tonight. Went out and battled in a tough environment and stayed together. Hopefully Alex stays hot till April lol.

[dbav]

I love it when a big man makes FTs!

[meisperplexed]

Just close it out boys. And Zion is the fattest cheerleader I've ever seen.

[DiehardDukeFan4Life]

AOC becomes the first player other than Zion, Cam and RJ to score 20 points this season.

[PixelDevil]

ROAD WARRIORS!!!!! UNx, you're gonna get yours!!!

[crazyduke3]

Coach K probably so freakin happy to see Alex dribble extra clock out.

What a freaking tough hit good win. IN BLACK BABY!

[JohnstonCDevil]

Very well played 2nd half!!!!!
OFC

[DukeSky85]

Great win!

[PixelDevil]

Great game, and awesome to get this one back. But a lot of weird stuff tonight. No Jack White, no Bolden for almost 30 minutes. Playing Baker for like 3 minutes. Hope we get this rotation figured out, our next game is a tough one.

Because he (White) cant make a basket.

[tclark6]

Alex was a hellava wingman tonight! Love it!

[smashmouth5]

Outstanding win!

[DukeSky85]

Zions going to be ok if he’s jumping up and down on the bench

[denverexpat]

Much better offense second half...and welcome to the team Alex!

[Mac9192]

The collection of guys not named RJ or Cam have to score at least 30-40. Very tall task, but doable.

Oh Gotta, I’m calling and your phone is ringing. We got 40 out of everyone not named RJ or Cam!

[Hurley22]

Big time win. Slip reaper brought it. Javins D. Boldens offensive rebounding. RJ being RJ. Wonderful night. Nobody wants Zion out, but him not playing may have helped us down the stretch bc we had some players grow and gain some valuable confidence. Let's go DUKE!
