Damn, somebody put a lid on our basket?! Hope we don't wait too long to wax hot. Really need Grayson to be a key, he needs to light a fire.
Go Duke!!

Well, I'm not about to start my 1,000th post with gloom and doom. I think this will be a very tough game and we must come prepared to score, and score a lot! These are really great kids, and win or lose, we knew this year was going to be tough, we are just so spoiled by last year that we can't get over it (yes, I am too).
We must contain Cooney & MG, and somehow crash the boards. Tonight, we share the ball, show our maturity, and never, ever, give up! Duke will somehow find a way to get this one.
Go Duke!!

Huh..Dickie V with the statement "if you give a kid a scholarship he should be able to give you some minutes" - couldnt agree more.

That Defensive possession was awesome...need to build on that one to many more!

Trying to figure out why Ingram is not at the free throw line against this zone. Matt got there once and did a really nice job turning and facing giving Plumlee a nice look at the basket

I'd like to see Thornton really attack that zone with his handle.

You can say what you want about these Duke kids, and yes, they probably are tired, but they are scrapping every inch of the way! Love their intensity!
Go Duke!!

We have got to put someone at the elbow/free throw line or we have to penetrate, we are doing neither right now. Come on fellas

like the idea of Ingram at the foul line against the zone - his size would be a problem for them....but alas we are just launching a 3 PT barrage to little effect so far.

Cooney looks older than me and I haven't been in college in 16 years, but it does seem like he has been at syracuse that long

Took an hour to get the shot off. This is the first game where I've been truly ticked at Duke. Just chucking three after three. If that's the game plan then they deserve to lose.

The kids are playing hard! Shots will start falling. We are playing well defensively.
