I don't think RJ is a selfish player. I think he's being asked to he 1 of the top 2 options and is attempting to do that. What I think he'll learn is that if it's not working, there are at least 6 other scoring options.

Fortunately, this is the second game of the season. A lot to learn from and a lot to improve on. I think this year will be a lot of fun again.

Hey we played against a good team with upper classman who shot very well and played hard...and we still won by 22

Duke played well against not only a veteran team, but a Army veteran team. Trust me, there is a difference in discipline alone which is underestimated. These freshman handled it well. I was more impressed with this win than Ky's.

Once you double and gamble you are 1-2 passes away from a wide open look. First pass we were able to get a help defender over but that only spreads us out even more. The second pass was resulting in a lot of points for Army. We need to defend the ball better. If we want to double we need to do a much better job recovering out of it. With the right attitude we’ll learn. Until then a composed team that is capable of knocking down the open 3 will give us some fits.

They’re open shots though. Majority of our 3s are off passes and uncontested. They just don’t go down sometimes. We are a 40%+ 3 pt shooting team so far

That was the EXACT game this board needed. Some of you were slipping off into that zone the media was creating. We can lose 4 or 5 games. Not invincible. Still have a TON to learn as a team. But we have all the tools, just gotta get the method down.

Game 2. I'm sure with the GOAT roaming the sidelines will make in game adjustments. Bottom line is not too many teams can throw out what Duke does, and most nights, that alone will be the difference.
