Zion has committed 8 offensive fouls and Jones should have fouled out too. Crazy how the ref swallow the whistle when it’s Duke.
This result is actually good news for UK. Should it come down to us and the Cavaliers for the last number one. Especially if we can beat UT at least once.
I guess if we keep winning and UVA falls off that 1 line.......it could come down to either us or UT for the 1 seed in the south.

People won't want to credit Duke for this game, but they played well. Going into UVA and getting a win like this is huge. I hope Tennessee is their 2 seed.

But it isn't like they aren't structured. They are. They're talented and well-coached and they're executing on both ends of the court.
We keep creating narratives to make them look more fallible than they are. They can get beat, but it's not going to happen because they can't handle the pressure. A poor shooting night or unexpected foul trouble are really going to have to be part of the recipe to take them down. Zion and Barrett appear to be mentally strong, and it sucks for the rest of college basketball.
Maybe , He's good , but Va plays some guys who fill the their roles well but the individual talent is so so
UVA never impresses me. There are a dozen teams Id worry more about UK playing. Well, except when they lost to that 16seed

I watched the second half and even Bilas said there were three or four fouls that were not called on Duke that they committed. Even at Virginia Duke still gets the friendly whistle. Williamson twice knocked somebody over with his forearm and nothing was called.
The silver lining is that if Duke wins it all, K probably retires. If they lose, it's another year where his supreme recruiting haul didn't end in a title.

When they hit 13 threes, they aren't losing. But yes, if they are ice cold, in the tourney, they can definitely be beaten. I just hope we won't be in their half. Meeting before the FF would suck.
I doubt he would retire. Why would he? It's like Brady. And Federer. When you are a dinosaur, but still able to beat all the young punks, there is little reason to stop.
Wouldn't be the first time a dominant Duke team failed to win it all. 1999, 2002, and 2017 come to mind.
If UK outmaneuvers UT for the #1 seed, I hope the Vols end up in Duke's region. They're a bad matchup for the Dukies.
