Kentucky has 0 commits for next year and has struck out on every 5 star is what I’ve been hearing..Rippey to NC State if what I've been hearing...
I would assume, and it's just my opinion, that Foster will graduate and do the Jeremy Roach thing, transfer and play somewhere else. Can him and Foster play together?

FifyWelcome to the brotherhood Young man and yes Ripley and Foster can play together in the back court allowing Foster to come off the bench as the 3rd/4th guard.
Somehow came through my feed on Twitter last night...Found the name of the European big man that we are possibly looking at for next year.. Luigi Suigo
I don’t think he’d be the third or fourth guard. I don’t think Foster is comfortable as a pg . He needs to be able to attack off ball.Fify
I hope you’re right. So far, 2 1/2 years in, he doesn't seem comfortable doing much of anything at this level. I feel like he’d be more comfortable at a non power 4 league.I don’t think he’d be the third or fourth guard. I don’t think Foster is comfortable as a pg . He needs to be able to attack off ball.

I agree, unfortunately. However, that means he’d play either ahead of Rippey (no chance) or Boozer and possibly a transfer we bring in.I agree with you about Foster’s career thus far but if he’s at Duke next year I doubt, he would not be guard 3/4.
So no Harris? Your assuming Wilkins red shirted for nothing ? You don’t want a senior Foster to play off ball? You’re going to start four freshman and a sophomore ? What if Duke lands another seven footer ? You think they don’t start one of them ? What if they get the number one sf that just reclassifying?he’s gonna start so you got five freshman starting ? Cayden or Foster won’t return to come off the bench . Too many teams will pay them to be a starter. You’re also planning on an up and down starter to lead this team as the only starter returning. Duke might as well continue the same path as sweet 16 and Final four champs with that line up .Sure is looking like Jon is building the roster to go guard heavy next year. If Cayden does not declare (he shouldn’t) I just don’t see him transferring considering who is dad is. That would give us Rippey (he’s going to be day one PG and log heavy minutes), Cayden and hopefully Smith Jr.
I agree about not looking too far ahead but it’s always fun. If they get Smith Jr…
PG- Rippey Jr
SG- Smith Jr
SF- Howard
PF- Nik
PF/C- Williams
Cayden 6th man, Wilkins, and a transfer. Some might say Cayden won’t come off the bench so alot will be if we get Smith Jr because that kid is going to be preseason ACC POY.
A lot of questions there Shey so I’ll try to answer most of them. Keep in mind, alot of hypothetical things here.So no Harris? Your assuming Wilkins red shirted for nothing ? The seven footer that could see starter minutes is Sarr’s Euro club team mate Duke has been in contact with .A lot of questions there Shey so I’ll try to answer most of them. Keep in mind, alot of hypothetical things here.
I’d love Harris to be back but I think the writings on the wall with him as he’s not getting nearly the minutes I thought he would, and I’d assume he thought he’d get. Gut tells me he’s gone unfortunately.
You think Wilkins goes from redshirting to all of a sudden starting? I think he will get minutes next year but not sure he would start if the before mentioned lineup is actually in place.
Again, my gut tells me Caleb will be gone and takes the Jeremy Roach route. Not saying I agree but just my opinion that he transfers as well. If anything, I think Cayden has a much higher chance to return and potentially shake up my hypothetical lineup as he’d be hard to not crack the lineup. Regardless, I think Cayden would get starter minutes.
If this class also gets Smith Jr then yes, I could see starting 4 freshman and a sophomore. Duke has done that before so it’s not crazy to think. If Smith Jr comes, that’s 4 top 15 kids.
The seven footer they have is ranked #97 and seems to be a year away from competing for major minutes. What seven footer is on their radar that would signal starter minutes? Jon has taken the route of HS recruiting as opposed to the portal for starter minutes. Again, agree with it or not, that’s been his position.
The only one is obviously Cayden who might change that starting five
I too think Wilkins will get minutes, I just don’t think he would start. Smith Jr very well might wait to see what Foster and Cayden do but he’s an absolute stud and Jon is hot in pursuit of him.The seven footer that could see starter minutes is Sarr’s Euro club team mate Duke has been in contact with .
Wilkins may or may not be a starter but if he stays he will see minutes . He didn’t reclass to come early and sit on the bench for two years .
I don’t think Duke gets Smith Jr . If they did I see Cayden and Foster leaving because that’s a sign both were recruited over and really with Howard coming in being defensive minded and an undersized SF I see him getting a lot of minutes as the back up sg unless Harris returns ( which I really am with you as the writing does appear to be on the wall with him at this point in the season.)
With the ever changing landscape of college ball , I don’t want a tone of freshman starting.
Foster is averaging 10ppg 4rebs 3ast and shooting 44% from 3....currently having a better year so far than he did as a freshman when most thought he was doing so well b4 the late injury....soph year he got beat out by Sion and played his roleI hope you’re right. So far, 2 1/2 years in, he doesn't seem comfortable doing much of anything at this level. I feel like he’d be more comfortable at a non power 4 league.
