Duke Still a #1 seed

Villanova and Virginia are looking pretty strong for a 1 seed right now. I’d rather be a 2 seed in Nova or UVA’s region than a 1 seed out West

I don’t mind it but that’s a good game if that 6 and 11 seed hold in the West. Two Duke former players going head to head.

Just get us out of the West. 2011 makes me never want to be in the West again. Lunardi has a 2 seed in the West, which could potentially have us playing Zona in the Sweet 16. No thanks.

I will say our defense has looked much improved. After the State game, our defense was ranked 104 in the KenPom rankings. Now we're up to 58, which is half-way respectable. We've covered distant ground in just 7 games.. We played pretty well against UVA minus one category - turnovers. If we're even with UVA on turnovers, we beat them by double digits.

It doesn't matter at this point where teams are seeded as its sure to change ins't it?

Yes and no. We’re two-thirds into the regular season. The analytics are becoming what they are. We’re still in the driver’s seat to a top seed right now. Need to keep improving.

Well, we can’t be the 2-seed with UVA. That’s not allowed. Besides, the NCAA won’t put the ACC’s two best in the same region. Pretty sure we won’t be in their region unless we were to somehow drop down to a 6-seed....and that’s not happening.

Yes if we win out we will be a 1 seed for sure along with UVA, Who would have imagined that UVA would have the kind of year they are having. Its all about defense and taking advantage of opportunities for them.

Ah you’re right, no way they would put the top 2 ACC teams in the same region.
I just don’t want to be in the West no matter what.
