Currently there are more Duke threads on our first page than there are number of Plumlees. It’s certainly understandable to discuss other schools, but there seems to be a bit of a bizarre preoccupation with them for some of you. Their fans point to the number of those threads as “proof”, as you’ll see below.

Please feel free to bump this thread as an intervention when you feel this needs to be pointed out again to prove BBN isn’t “obsessed” or subconsciously seeking validation from them . . .as we are so often called out on.

Also, yes I realize the irony that this thread counts too, but enough is enough. Merciful heavens . . . Snap out of it!

True, it is embarrassing to an extent but you being obsessed with UK and our approval (stalking our board and posting more here than your own) is perhaps more embarrassing?

I understand you all are upset and butthurt after failing and choking miserably last year and the years before , but still....

I frequent other boards.

The notion that other boards aren’t discussing others is ridiculous. They are.

But mods on most boards merge threads, ours really don’t, so it appears there’s more talk of others here when in reality it’s about the same.

Carolina talks about UK constantly, just check their board from time to time. But they merge the threads rather immediately.

Now that’s not a complaint, I don’t care how our mods do it. We actually have the best mods you’ll find because on other boards they really limit your speech. Here, they allow us freedom.

So the person complaining about Duke threads starts another one? That makes a lot of sense.

Why all this moaning about duke threads?

We not only talk UK basketball here, we talk CBB. Duke is a big subject right now in CBB. (Just like UK and Calipari.) I despise puke as much as anyone but to ignore what is going on with their program is like sticking your head in the sand.
