ESPN will never allow Duke bball to be "cancelled" or even banned from TV or post-season play. They would blow up the NCAA HQs before they'd allow that to happen.
Nothing will happen to Duke. Completely different rules for them. I’m hoping when Coach K ultimately retires, they will start to slide. They are untouchable until then.

The Zion case is nothing new. Puke has been paying players and getting their parents employment for basically the entire tenure of Cosch K. Players driving new cars was the norm not the exception there. As one poster noted - Gardner Webb is now on the NCAAs radar.
Fraud? Listen he’s got dirt on his hands like every successful big time college coach. But he’s not a fraud . His championships and gold medals speak for itself. He’s actually pretty classy in defeat too .

Bilas did nothing to dismiss the laettner-Davis relationship rumors either . Bannon lost a big recruit to duke years ago.
Duke gives $400,000 advances to all of its students, so this wasn't an unfair advantage given to an athlete, so no penalty.
I think K plays the illicit game but I pay attention to the kids of guys who don't need money. In basketball, they seem to go to Duke most often (seems like Stanford is a frequent choice in football). This suggests that the program would be a top destination if everything were above board everywhere.
