Michigan looked real good tonight...

Oh yea, Iowa Sucks..

UNC, much to their shegrin, is the second best team in the country. It’s a one lose and out situation, but the winner of the ncaa tourney comes out of the ACC. Hopefully, it’s Duke, but unc and virgina are tough. The big is down this year.

The top of the SEC may have something to say about that.

They have more depth then in years past, and Kentucky has improved a lot since getting beat by Duke by 34. I just think UNC’s improvement has been more significant, Duke is getting healthier at the right time, and Virgina, are the top 3 teams. Then Kentucky or tenn, and then michigan and mich state.

LSU is a dangerous team as well. The ACC is clearly the best conference in the country, but there are other teams out there capable of winning it all. If Marquette can get back to midseason form they could make a run. Gonzaga doesn't have the greatest resume but they're still Gonzaga. And of course there is always a Cinderella story to be written during march madness.

I was impressed with LSU, but their untimely NCAA deal, has them in a tough spot. Gonzaga is very talented, but the WCC would make any team lethargic! It wasn’t even a good year in that conference, and st. Marry’s beat them in their tourney, after Gonzaga won by like 1000 the time they played before. They’re kind of hard to gauge, because they don’t go through the same peaks and vallies other teams experience, during conference play. I like their team make up, but who knows?

Sparty and Michigan will be just fine vs either of these teams if they face them in the tourney.

UNC should have lost to Clemson like 10 days ago. Neither Duke or UNC are grinders. JMO as always.

Nobody wants to play UNC or Duke right now. They are the 2 most talented teams in the country and are heading into the tourney healthy and carrying momentum.

That game could have gone either way. UNC should have and could have won that game right at the end. I’d love for our Huskers to have that type of talent on our basketball team. No worries, I know it won’t ever happen but it’s cool to dream eh??

I like Tom izzo, but he is like 1-11 against coach K, if I had to choose between mich and state, i’d Bet on state in the tourney, based on culture. Duke will play however you want. Zion’s hype is annoying, but actually warrented for once. The guy has another gear.

I like a coach K but I don’t want like seeing North Carolina or Duke in the Final 4..

Not saying either one isn’t going to win it just don’t want too see either one win it all..

They could have, for sure. Neither team actually played to the top of their potential, which is kind of scary considering, either of them would of beaten 99% of the teams in the country, last night.

I agree with that. Those two teams just load up with top 50 players ever year. Their back ups could hope onto our Husker team and make a run for the BIG10 title...if not win it.

Roy should have called a timeout.

However.

All 3 of Roy's National Champioships came with a loss in the conf semi finals. After a tie winning the ACC. regular season.

Only difference this year he will be a 2 seed. He has never made it to the Final Four as a 2 seed af UNC.

So I would not put Carolina in my Final Four based on history.

I think I'll do three brackets this year. I'd have Duke winning one, UNC winning one, and either UK or Tennessee winning one. Don't think anybody else really has a shot, not even any of the B1G teams.

Never count out Michigan St. They almost always seem to ramp up their game in the tournament. Villanova is the same way, but probably don't have the horses this year.

I'm a huge Duke fan, but they have holes in their game that in a one and out situation can bite them in the ***. Free throw shooting and outside shooting being the two biggest. I am not prepared to anoint them yet.

I don't think Jack White has hit a 3 since January and Jones is one of the worst shooters I have ever seen. Hope they win it all though.

Generally teams who are as talented as Duke and UNC arent grinders. Those guys have top 5 talent year in and year out. I tend to agree with ur assessment of them as far as thats concerned but generally the grinders arent ur most talented teams.

Very fair assessment. Im a UVa fan so its impossible for me to like Duke lol. That said itll likely come down to matchups. Duke will have a game or two where guys like Jones and others will have to make some shots from deep.

Ive learned this tournament is all about matchups.

Not sure id make them a 2 seed. I think they have a good shot at a 1. They are definitely one of the top 4 teams in the country.

Duke and UNC will be 1 seeds for sure. Not sure about the other two. Maybe Gonzaga and UVA?

Sparty has a shot now with Tennessee getting blown out, beating Michigan 3 times and sharing the conference regular season gives them a shot..

Honestly for Duke, it all comes down to whether they can shoot the three competently and free throws. Zion's the best college player I've ever seen so if he gets competent help, I think they'll win it all. Problem is his teammates haven't really played well lately so I don't have much faith in them magically doing it.
