Cal can make Diallo a center if he wanted to but he ain't one. Williamson isn't a 4. He doesn't even play like one. He's a 3. Same with Barrett and Reddish. They are wings. You can play with more than one wing in the line up but still who is going to rebound? Who will block shots? Who will hit outside shots. There are clearly needed roles that they still don't have.

No. Williamson’s best position at this point is a 4. I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember Charles Barkley at Auburn, but that’s who he reminds me of (the Auburn version of Barkley). Just like Barkley, Williamson can block shots and rebound with any PF in college.
