The problem is, they have Jalen Johnson (a top 3 recruit). Probably gonna get Kuminga (the unanimous #1 recruit) And there's a good chance Griffin reclasses. They're still the leader for Patrick Baldwin, another top 3 recruit, who also may reclass. Clarke may be better than those guys, but if all this pans out for Duke, and we don't get Banchero to reclass or some other stud from 2021, they will have by far the more talented roster. We'll need a lot of guys to return to match their talent level and depth.

Dook has a big class coming in already and they are gonna have a good deal of layers return. I'm not sure most are the guys you want to return. Their own fanbase is already worried about being out of schollys for next year and figured it would cost them that big white dude center. They don't have the room to add Griffin, Kuminga and Baldwin. I mean sure they can run people off and I'm sure he will run at least one-off. Maybe Joey Baker. Right now they had a large class comprised of guys in the 30s and 40s. The only guy they have that we would want is JJ. Just with Askew, Boston, and Clarke, we are already ahead of them. They may have 13 guys, but you can only play so many minutes. Next year we will be quality ver their quantity. Plus we are not done. I don't know what there is to be afraid of. They took a guy like Brakefield who was practically begging us for a scholly and Cal said no thanks. It's early Nov., we gonna be just fine. F Dook!

I don't disagree with most of what you said, but no Duke insider is afraid of being out of scholarships. Just going through the roster, they will be ok and can even add one more player. That said, I don't think they could add 3 more players like Griffin, Kuminga and Baldwin next year.

I figure Griffin reclasses and that should do it and give them a full boat at 13. However, I still think it's quality over quantity when looking at us over them next year. I like our team much better already even though they have more players. It's a key sign when Brakefield wanted a UK offer and couldn't get one and the ended up at Dook. I think we land Jackson this week and then we just need to reel in a big fish in Brown, Paolo or Kuminga and we are set. Although I hope we keep the grad transfer streak going because guys like RT and Sestina have shown great importantness to our young rosters. I believe our backcourt will be highly superior to theirs. Askew, Boston, and Clarke are going to be a nightmare to defend and if we get lucky enough to return a guy like quickly them lookout. What we need to really put us over the top is a Top big man and they can have all their 30s and 40s type players.
