Yeah, wonder if TW left over some controversy…causing JW to be p’d-off??He may well be right right but he sure seems like someone pissed in his Post Toasties. Not his first swipe at NU since leaving.

JW left with Pot roast not Tony white.Yeah, wonder if TW left over some controversy…causing JW to be p’d-off??
Tony picked up the defense off the floor and got the D to do a 180 on being good fundamental football players. I think White's imagination is a bit limited and Rhule wanted better 3rd down defense. So thank Tony for accomplishing the same defensive turnaround that Pelini did two times. Williams was a Pot Roast guy. And yes, he may not play as much at FSU as he did at NU.JW left with Pot roast not Tony white.
Who do you think called Pot Roast down? I’m just saying, he could have some “foul taste” with how TW left, that’s all.JW left with Pot roast not Tony white.
So this came from Rocco Spindler -
Something else got Spindler's attention right away – those mat drills. He told his parents immediately it was no joke.
Tough to get through, but guys attacked it. "It's hard-nosed football," Spindler said. "We just completed mat drills. From where I'm coming, we never really experienced something like that."
Legit. That's the word he used.
"This is a hard program to be a part of," he said. "That's why when it's going to get down to 105, it's going to be the right 105 guys."
Why is this different though? I don't like either guy commenting on past schools or programs. You aren't there anymore, no need to say anything about them at all. I just don't remember people being mad at Spindler.
The point being is that people on here are calling for the failure of Williams but Spindler’s comments about what they didn’t do at ND as compared to Nebraska fell on deaf ears. Either comments about your former team are ok or they aren’t. It shouldn’t depend on your fandom.Well, I doubt any Husker fan would have a problem with those comments. We’re desperate for anything positive we can grasp onto. Notre Dame fan might have an issue, but I don’t care enough to go to their free board and find out.
TW had to convince Norvell to find a spot for Pot Roast. FSU has a really good and longtime DL coach. JW could care less about TW and how he left or where he went.Who do you think called Pot Roast down? I’m just saying, he could have some “foul taste” with how TW left, that’s all.
So you think Pot Roast recruits whoever he wants for the Dline and TW doesn’t care? TW had a say in bringing JW over to FSU. You’re crazy if you think otherwise. Hence why JW has been talking out his rear..TW had to convince Norvell to find a spot for Pot Roast. FSU has a really good and longtime DL coach. I am just saying the connection JW has is with Pot Roast and not TW . It’s not like TW didn’t know JW ability. But TW is at FSU and if Pot roast would have gone to South Carolina JW would be in SC .So you think Pot Roast recruits whoever he wants for the Dline and TW doesn’t care? Very similar, he basically said ND wasn't nearly as physical as Nebraska in off season practice. Not similar
No. Just that they didn’t do that particular drill.Very similar, he basically said ND wasn't nearly as physical as Nebraska in off season practice.
He said the drills weren’t as physical. He specifically said the mat drills were something he never experienced. JW actually said players were better at FSU and that the LBs and DBs at Nebraska were terrible.even though Jaw could be right it’s not similar in commentsVery similar, he basically said ND wasn't nearly as physical as Nebraska in off season practice.
Not really similar at allVery similar, he basically said ND wasn't nearly as physical as Nebraska in off season practice.
As much as this kid is arrogant and quite honestly seems pretty light upstairs, I think we all know the athleticism wasn't there last year at LB, Safety, and DE (his position). This kid wouldn't have seen the field for any good NU team of the past.Haha sheesh guys. He seemed like he got halfway through a point and didn't quite land it and it came out sort of awkward. He did not diss Ty Robinson.
Talking about your former team and how they did things is simply a way to throw shade because either they didn’t want you or you decided to leave. The level of shade thrown is irrelevant. How or why teams do something or whatever the perceived level of talent compared to where you are now doesn’t matter. It’s a lazy questioning by the one interviewing. Not really similar at all
Did I completely miss this part? What was the quote?the LBs and DBs at Nebraska were terrible
