too late now to say now, but it won't matter which way you go. The hangups occur where I35E and I35W combine. From that point all the way past Denton is where you run in to the northbound traffic.

I drive to Austin and San Antonio quite a bit .. I have completely removed 1-35 from my trip and my stress level thanks me for it
