Let’s say you pull into a parking lot with slanted parking spots. There are store fronts on your left, the lane is wide enough for two way traffic, but the parking spots are not facing you.

Is it okay to go down against the parking direction?

Definitely not, I was just teaching my daughter about the slanted parking rows a month or two ago.

I was in a similar situation but parked up ... while being in a hurry I backed out not being able to see below me due to the slant and slammed right into an old car that turned out to be the FBI on a stakeout ... they investigated me, came to my office to confirm who I was and then really stuck it to me on the repair bill for a vehicle they had confiscated .... my boss came by my office and heard me yelling at the FBI on the phone (i had a company vehicle ) and said to finally let it go and to quit pissing off the FBI. I'll stop here and just say that I now try to avoid slanted parking

FYI, parking lots are not public roads. Don't attempt to force fit "rules of the road" to parking lots.

No but it doesn't stop people from doing it. The other pet peeve is people who will back into a slanted parking space.

yes, if you have a small enough vehicle to park in either directionf without having to backup. If you are driving an F250 that will require a 15 point turn to get into one of the improperly angled spaces, then no.

Don't listen to these soyboys, they are probably Fauci-ites and blindly follow the gub'mint. As long as you are not blocking traffic and can fit in the space, you're good. To the millennial who doesn't like it when people back into a parking spot, just because you can't back up, it doesn't mean others can't.

millenials and low-iQ morons are the ones backing into angled parking spaces. People with intelligence know better.

They just want the door dings to be on the front fender or door instead of the rear.

I do it all the time, but only as a thru-way to cut through the lot. If I'm looking to park, I'll drive the appropriate direction.

few people realize that this is one of the reasons that they moved the parking brake to the console of many cars. One quick pull and you are pulling right into the space.

I drink soy in one hand, while shooting my .454 casull up in the air in the other hand, as I ride beautiful women from behind on sharp gravel. You got a problem with that angled spot back in guy?

Who wants to start the GoFundMe to send greenbean and Dawg61 on a cross country road trip with a camera crew in tow?

Maybe you can get your husband to teach you how to back up a vehicle. It's really not hard.

Yeah, the ability to back up a vehicle is not the issue. But I'm not surprised that you can't grasp the overall concept here.

I was born in the 60s, you low T cucks would have a panic attack when I didn't buckle by seat belt, was driving with my knees with a Marlboro Red in one hand and a Miller Fence Post in the other and Hank Sr cranked all the way up. Before we hit the state line at V'burg, you'd probably have called your counselor at betterhelp.com. By the time we finished our second daiquiris at Delta, LA, you'd be passed and the rest of the trip would be in peace.

All of the above is why I mentioned the camera crew. Sounds like must see TV.
