In my opinion Cals offense is not working and it’s quite obvious. I think it is also obvious that you cannot succeed with a 5’5’’ PG and run this type of offense. Secondly I will tell you this from stories I’ve heard of people being around Toppin and Wheeler and they say their egos are way too big. I think it shows every game also. Wheeler should be seeing the floor 10 minutes a game and for Toppin well he will never be his brother. Overhyped players who give nothing to this team. At this point the only players worth keeping are Wallace and Oscar.

it's the late 2015 offense. It's the same offense that went from 84-25 wins to 61-58 wins in 2015. And the same one that got us beaten by Wisconsin. Cal is pounding the ball to Oscar the same way he did KAT.
And it worked in 2015 all the way up to Wisconsin. KAT was a monster in the paint and Oscar just isn’t that type of player.

We didn't run it until late that season. Go back and watch that team in November and December and early January. When Cal let them run. Notably the Kansas game. Talking about fun boy. AP chase down blocking scrubs, WCS dunking on dudes, Aaron Harrison splashing threes.

That team was running and shooting the hell out of the ball until Cal done his tweak of force feeding the post every possession. Outside shooting never recovered.
