While driving home from work last week, I was going to rankin county the back way and noticed someone had decorated and had a party tent in their yard on yandell on the first night of the draft. I was curious who that might have been for and wondering where they ended up. It’s obviously not a state player (I’m assuming) and with this day and age of players leaving the state so often, does anybody know?! I’ll hang up and listen

You mean that stretch of road between Gluckstadt and 43 near Turcotte range??

Would that be a Canton address? Gluckstadt?

Yandell road is Germantown schools, I do believe.

Yeah, I think it's gotta be OM's Zxavian Harris. Played at Germantown.

Was projected as a 3rd rounder, but injuries and law breaking clouded the picture. Undrafted. Listed as best available when the draft ended.

Well, I hate that for the kid. I thought it was pretty ballsy to throw a party like that for someone that didn’t have a chance of going the first day. I saw the stuff set-up the day AFTER the first day but I guess it wouldn’t make sense to leave it up that long now that I think about it. It might have been set-up for that evening and I saw it beforehand. If he was a projected third rounder that would have made him a day two guy, correct?

This dude's name would be a walkoff scrabble answer.

Yeah, no offense intended, but I'm not about to try to figure out the party planning thinking of a family that decides Z and X are great letters to combine at the start of a name.
