Who are these 100,000 people who go stand around in the street in Nashville while the draft is going on? The draft bores the heck out of me watching it on TV after the first 5-10 picks, even with the wall to wall talking heads jabbering away. Much less would I want to waste a day or two wandering around the draft area streets, unless maybe I had a child likely to be drafted.

To me, its still football. I follow recruiting so it's kinda cool to watch a kid progress from HS to college to NFL. See which Huskers pan out and make it to the show. I'll watch the draft before watching golf or NASCAR. And now they are switching cities up each year it's getting more popular. What's not fun about repping your team, drinking beer and talking football with your boys??

Kind of reminds me of 90,000 people wearing red that attend an end of spring practice “game”...scrimmage. How about passionate fans that love the game of football? Winking

Well, at least at the Spring game there is a game to watch! Obviously a lot of fans are into the draft event, but just doesn't click for me. Too much waiting around for too little payoff along the way. I'd rather just wait till it's done and then see the results and hear some evaluations of who the winners and losers were then I guess. Maybe if I liked the pro game more I'd be more interested.

Nashville is the bachelorette party capital of America. That alone should be worth the trip.

I went to four or five drafts when I used to live on Long Island. 78, 79, 80 and 82 for sure.
