Wonder what that means for Skal or WCS? I assume the Skal project may be coming to an end.

Why would you think that? He’s still under his rookie contract. He’s an athletic 7 footer who’s improved from rookie year to second year. I seriously doubt they are giving up on him just because they are drafting Bagley.

Just looking at their roster, they have 3 Centers and 3 PF's. With Bagley, that's 4 PF's. No team needs that many big men so someone has to take a back seat or be traded.

I don't think WCS will be the casualty though. Jack Cooley is expendable at center (it doesn't even look like he is under contract), and Skal will likely get cut loose or traded. But that depends somewhat on how far Harry Giles is with his rehab and regaining his form.

Gotta add Harry Giles in there as well. So much talent taken away by injuries.

I think Skal has a game skillset for this league and would seem to fit with defensive minded WCS. He and Bagley would be a good rotation for the Kings.

I know Bagley gets the medal for best athlete, but does he have ANY defense in him at all?

WCS could be a great rim protector on a contending team. His versatility to guard multiple spots is a huge asset.

Isn’t PF the easiest position to fill? ATL has had PFs as their leaders and it hasn’t taken 5gem very far. Yet, you can get a Draymond Green in Round 2 and be a title contender.

League is about shooters and you cant have enough of them.

Woj isn't allowed to tip picks since he's at ESPN now but he's listed how they're "taking shape" No team name by Memphis at No. 4 which means they're trading down apparently.

Bilas doesn’t have one of our guys in the Top Ten. His anti-UK bias is amazing.

It didn't take off very much.

Skal should of stayed 1-2 more years to buff up and get used to playing physical at collegiate level before hitting NBA

Skal showed flashes. But honestly, with his skillset, I never see him working out to be a good player. Maybe a 7th-8th man at best. I don't think any more years of college would have helped him.

I think Skal is too soft to make it. He could be a decent stretch 4 but his weakness is his weakness lol.
Honestly, I think Giles > Bagley. But the Kings, whichever way they go, have some young talented big men.
And Bagley seems almost as bad of a defender as Jahlil Okafor. Funny thing is, Duke is known for their hard nose, slap the floor defense.....right?

Woj still ended up tipping the picks lol .

I thought it would be a safe night on twitter but him and Sham still announced the picks before they happened
