Is Dylan a prototype Jeff Sims? In other words is he a "dual" QB? I wonder if he can absorb all the hits in the Big 10?

So we are still actively recruiting a kid who has been committed to Georgia for over a month? What is he waiting for? I would think Georgia would want him to announce it already. Waiting for some special day in June to announce it seems kind of risky on their part.

No idea if he's a silent commit or not but if he is still letting us recruit him then he isn't really committed to UGA. I would call that scenario a UGA lean.

Let the chips fall as they may at this point..

Give the kid some room to decide..He’a the one that has to live with his decision when it is all said and done.

Wait, is Georgia a tough school to get into?

Lofl.
They have to be selective as I believe they still offer the Hope Scholarship where they pay for all in state tuition if the student carried a 3.0 gpa or higher in high school.

So many people falling over themselves on every little CB prediction with doom and gloom. This thing is not over until he signs. I still think he ends up a Husker.
I like your optimism. I fall firmly in the camp of people who think we have to do whatever it takes to get him. I think his total value to NU, especially at this time (not just his talent on the field) is worth whatever the asking price is. It's truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and should be treated as such.

Good point. Even if he doesn't not end up being amazing just landing him and showing the recruits the power of NU NIL is a big deal.

The longer he waits gives thought that he may want to see what the Husker team looks like in 2023. Georgia is a known situation. If the Huskers come out looking sloppy like we have the scales tilt quickly. But if the Huskers look solid and clean and there is a path to wins it may make the decision a little more difficult.

Someone is going to have to convince me on what the benefit is to anyone of being a months long silent-commit to UGA. I guess it might benefit DR because it allows him to change his mind. But I wouldn't really call that scenario a true commitment.

Although I do find it odd he suddenly decided to not attend the spring game, without a public explanation.

@Redmich put forth an explanation that I have yet to see anyone counter:

Coach Rhule didn't want him there & told him to stay home

Which I could believe but then why keep recruiting him? And why is he waiting to announce UGA? UGA doesn't need more hype right now. They have plenty. The earlier he commits the more he can help shape the class.

He's not wrong. Not sure why the tone of this board is to jump down the throat of every visitor. It’s a bad look.
Especially when a good chunk of the fanbase wants to try and forget the last 5 years happened, because it hurts their feelings, and they are incapable of admitting the truth about them being so very wrong.

Let’s be real, he was using Nebraska to drive up his NIL payout. USC is the college that caught on early and told him to take a hike.

We need to focus on kids that don’t play games with their recruitment. Once it starts to drag out or they commit and renig on the commitment . Move On
How funny my statement now?

You have no idea if he was using us to drive up his NIL deal or not. Or if he was even playing games with us.

Just because he didn't pick Nebraska or USC doesn't mean he was playing games with them.
