What little bit I was able to listen to on the way in was very interesting.

I.E., during discussion on mentors, Damon said that even coaches need mentors and Dr Stark mentioned that Woody Varner (former UNL President or Chancellor or something) was Coach Osborne's mentor and (he said something to the effect) that Woody Varner was one of the best mentors ever. So at one point, UNL have Varner, Devaney and Osborne as leadership. Eventually Osborne was all that was left and when he retired, Solich was a bit stranded.

Also, now-a-days, coaches don't have as much control as before. I.E., soon there will be a NCAA mandated "health" leader that has full authority (control) over health issues (he didn't go into detail of what this means and I'm paraphrasing also) that doesn't report to Coach Frost (because somewhere, some coach mis-used his authority).
