Very good article and it demonstrates that in any debate about OSU's greatest wrestlers that it is impossible to pick a top ten as comparing wrestlers from various generations is like comparing apples and oranges. What a strong ride he put on his opponent in that video. BTW despite what some of my acquaintances might suggest this was before my time as a wrestling fan. He won all of his NCAA titles before I was born.

Dr. Stanley Henson's younger brother was also a great wrestler. Josiah (Joe) Henson was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame a couple of years ago. Joe Henson was undefeated wrestling for the US Naval Academy and was an Olympic Bronze medalist in 1952. During Joe's years at USNA the NCAAs were not held due to WWII, but most wrestling history experts feel otherwise Joe would also have been an NCAA champion. Dr. Stanley Henson helped coach at the Naval Academy during the WWII period.
