Dr. Jim replacement?

With athletic facilities squared away and H.C. Pat Fitz happy and under contract I would assume hiring of new
A.D. not currently pressing/critical. Saving ~50% of salary owed to Dr. Jim for this year is also not a negative. Is
this hiring "process" something that can potentially be put on back burner until football season or is potentially
identifying Morty's successor (before announcing new A.D.) the monkey wrench in this sloth of decision making?
