My confidence for tonight's game just took a minor hit. I'm not sure if Dougie is quite the old Digger kiss of death, but what a little punk talking all that smack on the air and then picking the Wildcats. That just tells me Mr. Thief in the night was just talking to 1. Stir up ratings for tonight and 2. To Troll UK fans.

To that I say, job well done Gooflieb.

Stolen credit cards aside and pompousness aside, I actually find Gottlieb to be very insightful and prepared when calling games. He says the things most color analysts would never say nor are perceptive enough to say. His ability and willingness to talk about specific offensive sets and the logic behind the offense rather than be a personality-pumper like Dick Vitale is refreshing.

Gottlieb not picking the last two remaining Big12 teams is shocking but actually quite intelligent. LOL

I appreciate your opinion, but I have to completely disagree with it.

This douche actually said UK doesn't have good ball handlers. HAHAHA

OPK, whatever, that single comment right there invalidates anything else he could ever say about Kentucky, or any other team as far as analysis goes. Sorry, Dweeb's an epic fail in my opinion.

Gottlieb let everyone who watched West Virginia's last game EXACTLY where his loyalties lies, and it's not with UK. It's really not with West Virginia either, though. It's with whoever is playing UK. It's pretty simple.

So, my conclusion? He's just picking UK because he has come to the conclusion, after really looking at the match-up, that West Va's chances of actually winning tonight are very slim. And he hates being wrong more than he wants UK to lose.

Talk, talk, talk, and they all pick UK, and Arizona. I guess when it came time to mark down their "expert" pick they figured they'd stick with the obvious, you know the two who are double-digit favorites.

I think he realizes WV poked the bear this week with all the trash talk. In 2010 Jay Bilas picked Cornell to upset us when the pairings first came out. A day or two before the game he switched when they asked if he still thought Cornell could pull it off. He had seen UK's athleticism in the first two rounds.
