Double bye? Or one more win?

I'd prefer the 5 and face the winner of slumping Minnesota or slumping NW, before facing a #4 Iowa in the Quarterfinals.

The other way, I guess Iowa could get tired in a 5/12 or 5/13 close game and we would be well rested, more motivated team the way the Penn St game ended, not let it happen again as a 4

I can't guarantee we aren't Dayton (though I think 95% we aren't Dayton)

But, 100% We are in, now.

A double bye w/b amazing.

Why, that can only hurt is. A win means while a loss kills us.

I think we locked it up NOT WITHSTANDING a couple of normally one-bid conferences getting two.

Anyone hoping for 999
Any loss or just a loss to a bottom feeder? Double bye means the loss will be a quad 1 loss most likely

I thinking right now Dayton is our likely destination... so we'd need a win to get into the field of 64. A loss to anyone of the conference blue bloods won't hurt that. Conceivable that losing to Nebraska or Minnesota or the like could potentially hurt us still. Root for the double bye.

Absolute lock
Even Wachtel just tweeted
If we finish 4-5 at the end of today and win at least one more we are without doubt in. Even as of today it would be a real screw job to be out but hey you can listen to the excuses. With anyone else their early season records would be dismissed as a bad run. ESPN …Fox …will make one believe we are 12-18 and forget we have beaten 8 quad 1 teams. The system is a complete joke.

Don’t forget each bye is an extra day’s rest. That is massive considering the emotional toll the season has taken on the team.
