How is he? Did he injure his ankle?

Hoping we can REPAY Illini with a BIG W ....with Corey playing like today- but we'll need all remaining hands on deck.

Nathan, Mensah, Dadika- need to be able to: take care of the ball, rebound / shot when the situation / opportunity presents. Some will say that's "OBVIOUS".

YES IT IS: then freaking do it.

Saw him walk back to the bench (gingerly but on his own) shortly after the injury.

I thought shaq played well. On that particular play he seemed to turn his ankle when coming down with the rebound. He was in pain and just fell to the ground.

Pike indicated at CC meeting that Shaq may finally get the chance of a full off season of working out and practicing hard and not being hobbled with injury. If Corey leaves, I could see Shaq as a senior leader next year. I like Shaq a lot and he's a personal fav with the injuries he has fought through. He really played with some fire yesterday challenging Haas.

Shaq is a big dude! He’s one of the reasons we rebound so well. He’s not easy to move. I know he’s not much of a scorer, but securing rebounds and not giving our opponent second opportunities is a major key to winning. A healthy Shaq is needed next season

replay showed he actually turned the darn thing on the step before going up for the ball...so when he came down on it he really had no choice but to go down as he was already in pain. impressed he could grab the bound AFTER turning it.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned Shaq’s massive throw down put pick coming down the lane last night!

That was incredible!

Even the announcer said, “Where did THAT come from?!”

Shaq was awesome yesterday.
I hope (and think) he is just scratching the surface of what he can accomplish with his physical gifts and hard work.

He might not be an all conference player, but what really excites me is when a guy maximizes his potential.

You cannot ask anything more of someone.

Really hope he's alright - he's shown improvement this year, but still needs to be more deft defensively. I think he'd be an asset if he comes back for his 5th year.

Shaq is the type of player you wish you had when you don’t have one like him.

He not the most talented player, but his experience level has developed him to the point that he’s now a plus contributor.

Gotta love Shaq. Definitely gives us great effort and much needed size for a net positive, especially when he scores.
