It's crazy how people can have the same facial expressions/mannerisms for life. I've watched the '96 run games on VHS more times than I can count. So watching that youtube brought back some great childhood memories of Tae and that whole team.

I wish he still had thst 1 year of eligibility left- he could start for us next season!
I forgot he is so tall too.

[InTheIttaBenaHotSun]

That's cool....glad to see this.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

One of my buddies was teammates with Dontae at Northeast told me a couple of months ago that Dontae was going thru some bad times and was out of money......

A treasure of mine from Dontae during the FF run

That's awesome. I've got the schedule poster, but it's not in good shape.

Watch the 96 Bulldogs in the video right after that one...This guy gets it and understands how great they were. I went to the SEC tourney that year and was most memorable MSU thing I have ever seen other than the 98 football game against Ole Miss.

I was walking out of Allen one day when I see a guy ducking to come in the doors on the drill field side. Eric, Dontae and Bullard all walked in together. I'm 6' and Bullard was so much taller/bigger than me it wasn't funny. Dampier and Jones, though. Absolutely ridiculous! I had always envisioned Bullard as about my height, but it was just because I always saw him compared to the Jones, Dampier, Wilsons on the team.

I remember attending midnight madness when he came to State. It looked like he might jump out of the gym. We KNEW that night that the team had a chance to be really special. They were. A friend and I just kept looking at each other like, is this guy real? Man those were good times for MSU men's hoops.

[horshack.sixpack]

That dude could lose half of his hops and still be looking down at the basket!

[PineGroveBully]

I remember the old saying that you could place a dollar bill on top of the backboard and he could grab it while replacing it with 4 quarters.

[horshack.sixpack]

He had time to make whatever change needed...
