If there were damning info in the report on collusion/obstruction, wouldn't a rep from the SC have chimed in by now?

Why are you so sure Barr will be fair handed?
Because Mueller and his 13 angry Witch hunters would dime him out in a second. And Rosenstein. I trust the system and the institutions.

And I think Barr's a fair dude anyway.

I hope you're right but I think that Barr was hired for one reason and that's to protect Trump from this report.

I think the Barr "report" was pretty bland. It's Trumpers that turned it into treating it like a 700 ft grandslam.

I would think that much or most of the part regarding obstruction would be unredacted, that would be my main interest.

Good call. You should always trust a guy who, unsolicited, offers a 19-page letter stating that the SC investigation was ill-founded and the POTUS is above the law.
It's not like that's settled case law. I'm pretty fine with the DOJ coming to that conclusion. Ultimately the American people or congress are the ones that decide. (on obstruction)

He didn't think the investigation was ill-founded or that POTUS was above the law. That's a mis-characterization. Just the obstruction aspect.

Dimwit Biff is the one mischarecterizing it. The investigation was certainly justified.

and they can only do that if they see the whole report or as unredacted as possible, let's hope that's the case.

I love how you all think you’re going to goad Trumps admin into releasing the full unredacted report.
Does not the decision to release the report and how much is released to the public rest solely with the AG?

I would assume that some Congresspersons will see it first and if it's too blacked out then surely they will raise holy hell about it.
Hilarious.......Redactions....Redactions.....wer'e talking about Redactions? I guess it depends on who is doing the redacting......It changes based on what party pulls the strings.

My understanding is that Barr is letting it loose to everyone at the same time, just as he did the summary.

Yes. However, the DOJ does have certain policies in place. Such as, not releasing damaging evidence against people who they didn't charge.

Yes, well kind of. The different agencies involved in the investigation “the fruit” will likely be redacted protecting collection methods, techniques, and names. That kind of thing.

He did state that a sitting POTUS should not be indicted. That's basically the POTUS is above the law. Regarding obstruction, he did say "asinine" and "fatally misconceived."
