Very true. He'll do anything to be at the center of power. Anything. And I'm sure in his mind that the destruction of the GOP is simply part of the process as long as he stays in power. He's already proven this with the aftermath of all his election fraud lies.
Well looks like we are pretty good right now. With the senate in control and the House still in play sounds like even though inflation, gas are higher the people like what the Dems are offering better than the Reps. And once Joes policies start yo work watch out the Repulicant's are cooked.

Red wave never happened. Biff cucks were ready to predictably take over the House and Senate in a typical midterm swing and they whiffed. They'll have a slim majority in the House and that's manageable.

The trouble with your thesis is that the voter in the middle that might go republican and might actually give a ****, waive it off cause they don't like Trump. Whereas, DeSantis is not linked to United the Right and Jan6 crap like that. Donny brought that onto himself by not just condemning violence. I'd prefer DeSantis be the nominee and Trump support him and live out the rest of his life supporting the Rep party in the background for now.
If DeSantis wins I will support him. However I would encourage people to tune out those hating on Trump. It's mostly the same people who will be trashing DeSantis if he does win.
