Pope still has to close. Money talks and MO Williams is helping. If Pope pulls off Wright, Stokes and Freeman with Malaci and a shooter at the 2, I will believe. Until then, have to be skeptical

Hopefully his ties to UK assistant coach Mikhail McLean pave the way for Freeman to land at UK for next season. McLean worked with the Freeman on the Bahamas National Team in 2024.

Oh totally agree, was frustrating being one of the few that believed from day one that this was a process, I understand not everyone has that level of conviction so I don’t pass judgment, just was difficult to watch at times…

I would love to have him. Not crazy about a 4/5 combo that can't shoot again. Would make getting a stretch 4 to come off the bench very important. Need a Carr type to stretch the floor. Pope's offense works so much better with a 4 man that can space the floor.
Yeah, that guy is a stud. I didn't think we had a shot, this, along with Wright and Stokes visiting, is really awesome news. If he lands all 3, it'll easily change the mood on here.
