Tennessee and Pruitt are going bowling. Locked it up with a win yesterday and still have vandy next week. I’d have never thought 7 wins were possible given their start earlier this year. Imagine if they’d beaten BYU and Georgia State early in the season.

Add Ole Miss(APR Bowl Team) to the list... at this point of the season, I would rank us 12th out of 14 SEC teams.... is this really acceptable?

Only needed adequate coaching and discipline to beat two of them and basically embarrassed by the rest.

Turn off the Joe hatred and go back and watch those games. There are two common factors in every game. 1. The other team's defensive line was in our backfield within 1.5 seconds after nearly every snap. No offensive scheme will work if you can't stop that. How bad is our offensive line talent: (a) we have a tackle who was a swinging gate at left tackle last year. He is a starter again this year because we have nobody who could beat him out. He was moved to right tackle so our qb wouldn't be killed by the blind-side rush; (b) the best offensive lineman we have is a freshman who is 30 lbs underweight; and (3) we have a running back almost everybody says has a future in the NFL. He had less than 50 yards rushing against 2 or 3 of those teams, because he was being hit 3 yards deep in the backfield nearly every time he got the ball. 2. Our defensive line is also hot garbage. They are so bad that they have made some really good linebackers look bad. Our best defensive linemen were either suspended for most of those games or are freshmen. No MSU fan is happy with this season, but you really need to watch more with your head and less with your heart.

I’m expecting us to come out slow and disheveled as we always do. You better hope OM doesn’t take advantage of this and allows us to ease into the game and wake up and Moorhead teams seem to do.

Maybe the defense was in our backfield because they knew what we were going to do before the ball was snapped

OM actually has an identity because it knows what it wants to do on offense although it may be limited and it plays with passion and energy. State doesn't actually have an identity on offense or either is confused and as a result doesn't play with enthusiasm

Well said. We have a talent problem

Ole miss fans would laugh at this. They hate RR and their entire offense. Why? Because they suck. They got a bunch of yards in garbage time against a bad LSU defense who checked out and everyone thinks they’re the 99 rams all of a sudden.

This is a very accurate statement. This team has a lot of issues that need to improve. We are terrible along the O line and most of our receivers can't catch.

This doesn’t mean we are any good though. In fact it makes the job Moorhead is doing look even worse. Congrats those teams are getting better and we are not. All this means is we got one of the worst coaches and teams in the league. We are now better than 10th in the league right now. Probably a toss up between 10-12.

Congrats! Woohoo we lost to bowl eligible teams so we are better! It’s not as bad as it looks! Man we really put it on that tough Arkansas team and that tough Abilene Christian team. Kansas state is going to a bowl so they are an awesome! Tennessee is not as bad as we thought! Woohoo! Moorhead is going in the right directions we just need our players to not cheat and be 5 stars and not be as breakable as glass under our all star coaches strength and conditioning plan! Four more years!!!! **

But but injuries, youth, tutorgate, talent gap, Mullen quit, and now we’ll those teams are better. Rabble rabble.

The excuse train keeps rolling

Nobody is saying any of that. I was just pointing out that we lost to quality opponents. We don’t have a lot of talent on our roster. Some of it is on JM. Some of it isn’t.

The best excuse I can come up with is that if you look up and down the roster we have freshmen playing in a lot of positions. And all our back ups are freshmen. We are very young, we can't block and our receivers suck. People are so worried about what are we gonna when these seniors are gone. I say good riddance. Show me more than 3 seniors that are good players and high contributors on this team.

Well when we call plays that do not mesh with the blocking scheme, that’s bad coaching and play calling. It happens a good bit and causing issues among the staff
