They lied as defined as solely by the prosecutors who instructed them to 'lie' so as to fit the narrative of those same prosecutors. Crooked system that creates situations where you tell the truth about a situation and someone else tells a different story and the prosecutor is allowed to declare that YOU are lying, ,a felony. ,They may ask about something that happened decades ago and forgotten by you as being of no real significance. ,There may be a e-mail reference to it on your phone or computer. If they see it and ask, you had BETTER remember because to not do so also constitutes perjury (vis a LIE to them). ,Very unreal situation and crooked. These are the reasons for the legal problems of the Trump associates/supporters--NOT at all related to the initial pretext of Russian dealings. Getting your facts together before making accusations or innuendoes is a trait of an honest soul to which you appear to fail to qualify for membership.

Jason Bennett, a special agent for Homeland Security Investigations, said an undercover agent took “screen shots” of Moody sitting at his desk and conversing with other pedophiles in the secret chatroom on “more than one occasion” between Aug. 29 and Oct. 12.
Moody, 39, was fired from his job of nearly two years immediately after his arrest on the evening of Nov. 5, when agents executed a search-and-seizure warrant at his downtown Little Rock apartment. Bennett said screen shots also captured Moody using the app while he was at home.
Moody was also a political consultant. He was hired by the county after a year-and-a-half stint as communications director for the Democratic Party of Arkansas. Before that, he had been chairman of the Democratic Party in Pulaski County for two years.
